I did a serch but didn't see any posts about this, but I've seen a lot of conflicting information online regarding the placement of your strong hand thumb on the slide for better recoil control. I recently tried it but didn't really notice a difference except that I have small hands and it is actually a bit of a stretch, much more comfy with my thumb just below the slide. Any input is appreciated.

His thumb isn't "on" the slide. It's next to it. Good example of why watching videos isn't a substitute for good training.

A "lot of conflicting information?" This is the first I've ever seen it.

I do thumb over thumb grip. I just tried holding my 9mm thumb on slide. Very unnatural for me.
Yeah, all the above.

I have a thumb rest on my CZ but it isn't on the slide.

Body parts and mechanical parts in motion is rarely a good idea.
