Extra wide 1/2 front sight dovetail

I have a vintage octagon barrelled German 22 that has a dovetail cut into the bbl that oddly enough measures almost exactly 1/2 across the widest point.

Do you guys know of any options to get from this to a Lyman style globe.

The pic shows the ramp in place. The 1/2 inch dovetail is below this

0.495" is the widest dovetail sight that I know of. You would need to know what height you need when you start looking. If you need wider it would be a custom.

Who makes that? That could be close enough with a copper wire shim

You will need to verify the dovetail angle, too. Most likely 60*, but not guaranteed. If you want it done right pull the sight base off and have a machinist duplicate the dovetail on the bottom of a block of steel and have him cut the top to accept the Lyman sight bits.
