What revolver? Thanks for your trials. Everything looks good and yes it looks like it likes the lead gas checks.

I've got the same Ruger you have (plus others) great gun. I shoot a fair amount of 100 gr lead bullets with 231, it shoots like crazy. Keep up the testing, you'll find the sweet spot.

Better watch out. That could be your next CCW. A 3.2 inch .327FM SP101 with adjustable rear sight has been mine for a number of years. Carries well in a suede IWB holster.

I’m currently looking into something with more capacity due to recent incidents in the news but depending on circumstances it will probably always be a CCW option. Of all my CCW guns I shoot it the most accurate and I do like the way it carries.

I've yet to find a .32 revolver that shoots anything lighter than 90 grains that well. Will see when I eventually get a .32 S&W short top break and use 78 grain bullets.

I have an LCR in 327 that shoots the Federal 85grn low recoil loads like a laser beam. That gun sings for me in a way that many fullsize handguns can't. I don't get it but I'm not complaining.

I've become such a fan of the caliber that I find myself lusting after an SP101 or GP100 chambered for it. I just wish factory ammo were more readily available.

I shot it off the bench today. Not much change in the groups. Hopeful the shooting burnished the bore some more. After i clean it. I'll take a peek with the bore scope.

Actually, I'm gonna take this back because I've done up some loads in the .32 revolvers using the Berry's .32 bullet and that weighs 73 grains and the accuracy is just fine for plinking and the bullet is also the cheapest you'll find for the caliber.

Try 4.5 gr of Universal with a 90 gr SWC. I shoot that load at 25yds. Wad cutters and Semi Wad cutters seem to shoot really well through mine.
4.5gr of 231 with the same bullet works well also.

I have a 9.5” barreled 327, that likes 12.0 grains of H110 with 100 gn XTP’s or my 100 gn GC powder coated bullets. I need to try that load in the 5.5” Stainless Steel Blackhawk (8 shot) Bisley to hopefully be able to use the same load in both guns.

You have that custom barreled? I’m unaware of anyone selling a 9.5 inch .327Fm from the factory.

I had picked up some 76 Grain LRN’s, there was data from Winchester so I put to use some Win 244 and loaded up some test loads for the Charter Professional. Probably try them out tomorrow, we will see. I can understand why they would not work well at over 1000 fps simply because they are so short, not a whole lot to contact the rifling. I loaded them on the low side In the expectation of 900 fps or so for that reason. I do get your point, loaded to full potential I can see them causing a problem.

Accuracy was fine, point of impact was low in the fixed sight gun, about 4” at 10 yards. 100 grain SWC’s at the same velocity are a POA/POI affair. They are usable though just would not want to push them to Magnum velocities.

Load was 3 grains of Win244 over a Hunter Supply 76 Grain RN (Midway Clearance). No Chronograph but mid level published load around 900fps. .32 H&R

It's not even potential so much, even at 700 fps I dont know if those short bullets will work well from anything but a .32 S&W short chambered revolver as those guns were built specifically for those weight/shape bullets.

Again, I have had good results with the Berry's .32 bullet, it could be that the longer bearing surface (no lube grooves) is what makes the difference.

Whenever I get a 5 shot .32 short top break I'll have to try both the Berry's and lead and see if there's a difference in accuracy.

327 FM reduced load.jpg This load is 4 gr of WST with a 73gr Acme coated RN shot standing off hand at 7yds. It was about an inch high at 7yds and about 6 inch high at 25 yds. My 83 gr plated double end wadcutter load with 5.6gr of Universal would shoot just about POA at 25 yds. It was a lot hotter load.
I wish I could buy more of those. Maybe after the market is saturated with bullets again. They shot so well in my SP101 3".

Edit to add: I guess I already put this target up on your other threads. Oh well.
