Savage MkII GVL 17m2 value (not for sale)

I have an older pre E-receiver MkII GVL in 17m2. The GVL is a left hand MkII with wood stock, varmint (heavy) barrel. It has a Simmons Pro 50 4-12x50mm A/O VRC scope on it. I will probably include 1200 rounds of Ely/Remington 17m2 ammo with the rifle.


Again I am NOT trying to sell it here. I am just curious what a fair value is. I'm thinking $500 for everything.

The only left hand MkII with the heavy varmint barrel that Savage has made for many years is the BTVLSS. I did compare prices on the new FV an BV models along with what the different FV, GV and BV models have sold for on Gun Broker. A new FV seems to go for around $275 to $300 and a new BV for $325 to $350. Prices on Gun Broker are inline with that too. The cheapest I could find 17m2 ammo was $9.25 per box on ammoseek.com. I picked up the Ely/Remington ammo years ago when vendors had it on clearance. I'm just trying to figure out what everything is worth as a package deal if I do decide to sell it.
