New 32 & 25 ACP Handguns?

I know many members enjoy their LCPs and similar sized 380 carry guns. Ruger introduced a 22lr version a few years ago withsome popularity.

Would you buy one of the small polymer pistols in 32 or 25 acp?

Nothing against the little Keltec 32 accept that I don't see them in gun shops.
I didn't start the post to start an argument!

As I said many members enjoy there LCP size handguns. Would you buy a new 32 or 25 if the manufacturers started to make them????
I said nothing about making it your primary carry. Or that it was better than something else!

I feel 380 is a good minimum cartridge for carry. But I also see that the 32 has a place in the defense market.
If I can find a Keltec, Pico, or Ruger started to make a 32 I may buy it. I think it would be fun to shoot.
I would consider buying a 25 in a pre owned handgun for the right price. I think it would be neat to have, but don't see myself carrying it unless my attire would not allow for anything else.

If you don't like the mouse cartridges than simply say that you like something else better.
Without the little carry guns and their popularity would we even have the micro 9mms???

The 1968 Handgun Import Ban was not because the little guns were unsafe, ineffective or hard to conceal and carry.

Of the K-K-K assassinations that inspired the ban only one was committed with a handgun, and it was a US made 22LR revolver.

I never knew I was supposed to have a reason to buy a gun. I thought I could buy it just because I enjoyed punching holes in paper with it, or because it was neat looking and to appreciate the craftsmanship and history behind it.

The main thing hindering new handguns in .25 and .32. right now is the cost of ammo. Historically it's the availability and cost of ammo that has driven the popularity of various cartridges.

To answer the OP, no. I do not see any major gun manufacturers introducing any new firearms in either .25 or .32acp.

Technology has rendered them obsolete. Don't confuse that with ineffective because that is certainly not what I mean. Anyone competent with either can certainly defend themselves with said cartridges, but advances in design, especially in .32 caliber(30 super and .327 Federal), have much better potential.

I have a Beretta 950 in .25acp. In fact it was the first centerfire handgun I ever bought, maybe in 2002 or 2003. It is fun to shoot at the range and I probably feed it 50 rounds a year or so. The last time I carried it was probably three years ago and that was just for a day or two when I was in between holsters for my J frame.

Relevant to this thread, I actually pulled it out on a very hot day a couple of weeks ago, loaded it, and got ready to leave the house. But then I went back and got my Ruger LCR in .327 Federal. I would guess that the vast majority of posters that read this would make the same choice. Which is why you won't see any more .25 or .32 acp. There are better choices.
I'd like a 950 or similar quality .25 ACP, for collecting and fun.

I'd probably only carry it on seldom occasions, or 1-2X just to try it. But, I want a mini collection of all the Beretta barrel tip up models in the mouse calibers.

Currently have the Tomcat in .32 ACP.

Wow this thread fell apart fast. I thought the question was would we buy a <new> .25 or .32 ?

Yep

There have been too many complaints about a handful of folks disrupting this simple topic.

This is not a thread about the merits/deficiencies of calibers so the caliber war stuff is inappropriate. Any further misbehavior will close the thread after the offenders receive warnings and have their posts deleted. Save the conflict for an actual caliber war thread.
