Donald here. Love all guns! Kinda like pokemon. Want to get them all. Can't afford it but stg44 is on the list.

Hello Donald, and welcome! Many of us enjoy a wide variety of firearms, but eventually find ourselves spending more time and energy in a few types. The StG44 represented a new way of thinking in small arms, so has a fascination for many. Please check out the THR primer, respect your fellow enthusiasts, and enjoy your time with us.

Hello, Nclear79. We are a community of folks who enjoy firearms and exchanging information about them. We try to be respectful and act as a resource to enrich the firearms experience. Please read the THR primer thread and help make this a good resource.

Greetings from Ocean City NJ, I'm new member Todd and was looking for a good firearms forum. I'm a big 1911 fan and really only shoot them, but in a bad situation would shoot whatever I can get my hands on. Also shoot a Troy A4 Other, can't call it an AR15 due to NJ laws LOL, but love shooting it. Registered to take my CCW class next weekend, and really looking forward to it, but not the major hoops I will have to jump through to actually get a license. That's it for now, thanks for having me.
One last thought:

I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.

Groucho Marx

Hello, Yooper Smoker and welcome. Glad to have you join up, and we hope we can be of assistance. We are probably a bit more straight-laced than many other forums, so if you will check out the THR primer thread in the general gun discussion section, it will help make for smooth sailing. The main idea is to treat each other well and leave the politics to other sites. There is a lot of knowledge here, and we are happy that you decided to add yours to the mix. Best regards!

Welcome aboard, .380! There is a lot of wisdom and experience on tap here, and we try to make that readily accessible by keeping it non-political and family friendly. Please check out the THR primer and enjoy!

New member from southern California. I'm a retired engineer, and I've been shooting since I was a small boy. I learned a lot from reading posts on this forum when I first started reloading. Thank you for your collective wisdom!

Welcome to the forum, irving! I am old enough to remember the Ballad of Irving, although the version that is locked in my cranium was the Lorne Greene rendition. We are glad to have you on board. There may be insensitive comments relating to things which you cannot control due to your location, but I am sure you and others like you are trying to improve things as you can. Please check out the THR primer and I hope we will continue to serve up information you can use. Your experience is also welcome.
