Another genius piece from Johnny Stout

Wow, I've not seen some of his higher line pieces other than pics...BEAUTIFUL!! Thanks for sharing those.

"Use 'em like they're free" is the old saying. They are a big expense but using a worn out belt is like beating your head against the wall.

Agreed, when they get dull they go circular file.

3 out of 5 years I get a call to pick something. Usually too late to get Johnny's knife.

My Wife...she gets a call every year and it early in the draw! She always picks the safari.

Good grief, how many tickets do you buy? :what:

how many tickets do you buy?

I don't "buy" tickets. No one "buys" tickets. We donate to the funding of Knife Rights out of our own self interest in getting rid of stupid knife laws. Knife Rights kindly rewards those of us that donate in the Ultimate Steel fundraiser with chances to be drawn for donated items by the contributors.

What do I donate? Generally I donate $500 and then another $200 for the end contributions. My wife generally donates $200. I'm amazed she is often contacted before me and more often than me. Do each of us typically "win" more in retail value than we donate? Her, certainly. Me, generally. Especially when you factor in the up-front "thank you for your donation" knife most folks get donating more than $2oo (each of us decline those since KR is usually running short). Freedom isn't free.

Well, that is pretty cool. A big factor for me was how successful KR is at getting laws improved. Donations to the KR team seem to be a big bang for your buck.

Unfortunately our local legislator who was working with them had some unrelated ethical behavior issues and is no longer in the legislature, and it has not really been a priority for anyone else.

I didn't see a safari this year, but good luck anyway to both of you!
