I am more consistently accurate with a Ruger GP100, 4” to 6” in barrel length, with the original-pattern OEM grip, than any other factory-stock handgun, that I have used. With appropriate aftermarket grips, I am as consistently accurate with an S&W K-Frame or L-Frame revolver. Notice that I used “consistently accurate,” which means that other handguns may be as accurate, in my hands, but that I tend perform better, more of the time, with these specific revolving pistols.
Honorable mention goes to a Government-Model-sized 1911 pistol, with the junction of the front strap and trigger guard being relived, a bit, to allow the pistol to sit lower in my hand. Les Baer and Wilson Combat frames are examples of this, that I have owned and fired. I can shoot such a 1911 as accurately as I can the above-described revolvers, but if I am “having a bad day,” I will do better with the revolvers.
