It’s a darn slippery slope. My thought is that there are many people who should deliberately relinquish their freedom of speech too, lest they go against the common good by spouting off. But I don’t see the government suggesting or pressuring them to relinquish those rights, which have collectively done an incalculable degree of harm to society, so I’m not a fan of red-flag-esque interventions for the same reason, on principle.

fellas, the whole 1st world just locked down their people in various ways for 2 years. The constitution was over rode in 48 hours by non elected officials, they rolled out mandates, banned worship, travel, work, cancelled 4-5 of the major human rights without one vote being cast.

Big businesses stayed open while small ones went kaput, and now we have the predicted inflation and taxation being pinned on some over hyped war between two ex soviet dumps, one of which no one here could even find on a map.

We even have sanctions meant to cripple the enemy somehow crippling the entire rest of the world instead, someone riddle me that one?! Anyone in NATO got a calculator or are 3rd graders now doing trade strategy for everyone?

Its like a meteor shower of boondoggles, one after the other. The 25-30 countries making up the free 1st world are currently a smoking pothole of the life we used to have and people are talking about incidents of government infringment? lol.
