Very comfortable grip. More accurate than most combat auto pistols. The only real downsides are that a) Nowadays, they're considered heavy and b) since the slide rails tuck INTO the frame instead of riding outside it, there's not a lot of slide to grab ahold of for racking.
If you have a good grip, it's no problem. Otherwise, look at another gun, maybe a SAR version. (made in Turkey and imported by SAR USA) I hear those are excellent.
The fact that the slide runs inside the frame is part of why it is so accurate (same for the Sig P210) so it's a reasonable trade-off, if that's what you're after.
