Who is your “go-to” knife retailer?

BladeHQ. When I was in LE in NY, they sent me auto knives, when others at the time would not. I also felt their pricing was good.

They have a nice selection, and give a good description of their knives, including steel and, important to me, country of origin.

If they have it, I much prefer to order from these guys.

KnivesShipFree | Premium Knives - All in Stock

They are based in Chattanooga; I'm about an hour away and I'm in the area often. Last time I was there they didn't have the showroom open. Only doing online orders. But they have been great to work with. The price you see is the price you pay if you live in most states. No shipping charges and they don't charge tax for me in GA.

I also have family all over east TN and we camp/hike a lot in the Smoky Mountains. I make it a point to go here anytime I'm there. I don't order much from them, but often pick up something when in the area. It is a great place to see and hold a lot of different knives.

And I've ordered some from

Knives, EDC, and Outdoor Gear - Huge Selection | Blade HQ

and

Knives - Knife Center

No single retailer since no single retailer has everything I'm interested in.

DLT Traiding, Arizona Custom Knives, Blade Gallery, Steel Addiction, SMKW, BHQ, Knifecenter, Knives Ship Free, Cutlery Shoppe, True Swords, Chicago Knife Works, Grand Prairie, ebay, closed and open FB groups.

They still will. They sent me a boker auto to NY no questions asked.

I've purchased from the following businesses without issues. Sometimes if one does not have what you want the other one will.

Knife Center
Knife Depot
A.G. Russel
Blade HQ
Cold Steel

There used to be a nice big knife store in KY just across the OH River from Cincinnati called the Cecil Clark Knife Company.

I was only in there a few times, but they were very nice, had an enormous stock of knives, and his prices were competitive with anything on line.

Shame they closed.

Midway, Amazon and Harbor Freight are the three places I bought knives from in the last year.

The Bushcraft USA trade blanket for used custom knives

DLT Trading for commercial knives

Arizona Custom Knives for collector knives

Blade Gallery and Monkeys Edge for hard-to-find knives

Chicago Knife Works for good prices

After that The Knife Center, BladeHQ, The Knife Connection, Midway, and Amazon

Blade HQ if purchasing online. But also, there’s a few local hardware stores and a local sporting good store that keep a decent selection of Case knives. I like being able to handle em prior to purchase, if possible

My youngest son always swipes the BudK catalog so I guess its them. Im not a knife guy really so I expect he will have a whole christmas list (cut out pictures included) pretty soon.

Ive ordered from SMKW a time or two... even visted the store on a trip once. Kind of blew my kids mind when they walked into the building and saw so many knives in one place.
