Yes, however, we have uninformed voters that still vote for people like Beto and Biden. Just cannot understand the reasoning for such voters.

Maybe because they don't like guns. Maybe because other things are more important to them than guns. Maybe because their views don't line up well with the Republicans on most political subjects, and Republicans don't actual do much that is pro 2A on a Federal level.

For example: Republicans keep failing to even attempt to reverse current federal gun laws, and appear to have no interest in writing bills about national conceal carry reciprocity even when they actually do have power. So back when Trump was President and the Republicans held the House and Senate, they managed to write a bill allowing huge corporations to repatriate billions of dollars from outside the US without paying any taxes on all that money (not even taxes to spend on the military, or veterans services).....but they didn't even try to do anything about gun rights. Trump didn't even care about protecting bump stocks, nevermind any other 2A issues.

Conversely, even when they know they can't even get a bill through the House, gun control advocates from the Democrat side will write bills and get them to the floor for a vote. Where's that energy for gun rights from the Republicans? Conspicuously absent, is where.

As it stands now, I'm allowed to keep possession of my handguns and take them to the range etc... but I can't sell them or transfer them to another person.

If they know where they are, you're only being humored while they gather power. At any time, they're just gone. I really hope Canadians either start a good black market or grow a backbone...because if it's stopped up there, they won't try it here. Otherwise, when Canada falls, it just serves as a lesson in how to do it.

Therein lies the problem, eh? One takes away, the other says "oh that's terrible"....but does nothing effective except hand-wringing. It's just one movement and one set of goals, however it's dressed up.

seems like all gun owners care about is to carry a pistol in a low crime area to get milk at the 7-11. all interest money and focus should go into repealing the rotten gun act of 1968 for starters. I just sold 2 guns on gun broker and was tortured for days twice with the stupid FFL dealers. to be forced to deal with these stupid baztards gets me sick

Stop. There's no lining silver or otherwise. I appreciate your optimism but this is bad news for our Canadian friends.

Canadians
What are you going to do about it? Vote? Write a polite letter? You better believe in gun ban stories - you're in one.

The evidence is mounting.
The plan is to disband the local police while increasing the crime rate, then bring in federal armed police of various types.
It seems to be a multi-national movement.
-But this can only succeed after the law-abiding population has been disarmed.
