Too many handgun calibers

Omit .380, add .40, and you have.my biz.

Why bother with revolvers at all? The 7 remaining revolver shooters left in the US, will likely croak before you get your presses set up. Make 5.56 instead.

5.56 and .45 are the most needed calibers right now.

Start there. 9mm is already being produced in massive quantities by dozens of companies.
I think we're in the unwanted minority.;)
In reality 40 splits the gap between 9 and 45 and makes both unnecessary.

I think u have a great Idea with your new ammo company…. Like KFC

But Id sell .. 38Spl 148gr LWC
and 40 S&W

I have reloading press setups for 9x19mm, 45ACP and 44MAG. Mostly I shoot and reload the 9X19MM basically because that is my EDC.

It'd be great to see more options than 158 grain lrn or 125-130 grain fmj for 38.

It's a versatile cartridge and I see a lot of folks coming around on it. Seen a couple new taurus 856s or 605s make an appearance at the range.

The old smith's market has kinda priced itself out for newbies, but sub 350 you actually see some decent wheelie options.

The way I see it. If you don't make the calibers I want I'll spend my money somewhere else. Simple as that.

So far I have handguns that can shoot .22 LR, .32 S&W, .38 Special, 9mm, .357 Magnum, .44 Special and Magnum, .45 Colt, and .45 ACP. I don't know, what else do I need. There is a gap. Maybe I need a .40 or 10mm or a .41 in a revolver. Not planning to go bigger than .45.

Could I talk you into adding 7.62x38R Nagant?
Probably not, though the Nagant revolver is sure interesting with the gap closing feature. Probably easier to find .41 caliber revolver ammo too.

However, I found a video on disassembly of the lower grip frame and it looks like only a couple steps to pulling the grip safety, so I might consider going that far as it would be nice to have a better beaver tail that does not bruise my hand.

Got late word from the NYSE that the orginal
name proposal for my new ammo company
can't be certified.

Therefore, a new name has been chosen:
Supreme Universe Xring Ammunition

On the big board, it'll be listed as SUX.

April Fools!

Yup, too many caliber choices, that's what's wrong with the US of A. Maybe Vladimir IIyich Lenin had it right all those years ago when he sold the Russian people on communism. "I'd be great, less choices equal less stress and fewer things to worry about."
So let's all go the Com Block route and, while we're at it, throw in a few book burnings just for good measure.
:cuss:

Folks are so serious on this forum. I can see why UncleEd got depressed. :neener:

I originated this thread way last October as to me
a joke, something to amuse members. Before I
knew it, posters were taking it seriously.

How surprised I am that it got resurrected this
month.

And I'm still waiting for April 1 when I become
Lord of the Universe. As I had posted I was
originally to become Lord of the Universe
on March 12, this Sunday, then revised to
April 1.

Exciting times indeed!

If that was what all the ammo companies did, I would play along but right now my 44 Mag and 45 Colts have decent support from both factory offerings and components.
