Such beautiful S&W's

This S&W M&P was converted by Parker Hale into a .22 l.r. target revolver.

The first S&W I bought was a pre-owned 14-2 that is mine since 1985

The 19s came a few years later




I just found the invoice for this 65. I bought it during the early years of the AWB when everybody wanted a "wondernine". I traded three Glock hi cap mags and gave $60 cash.

I know a semiautomatic snuck in there, but it's a Smith also.

I still kick myself over a few missed opportunities over the years. Right at the beginning of gun shows back when the shows were good.
One time was a 5" registered Magnum with the box, it was in 98% or so shape. It was 1200$ and I hesitated for bout 45 seconds. By then it was gone.

Born in 1984, this 624 started as a Lew Horton Special, 3" barrel, Goncalo Alves round butt. I decided that's too pretty, so I stuck on some Pachmayr round-butt conversion rubbers and glued an extra inch to the barrel. Now it's oogly and I like it that way.

My newest S&W. Bought it around 1983 - an M19-5.

I have a few, though not really as many as I would like!

This 25-3 was made in about 1977. It's a very accurate revolver with my handloads.

Newer 629 with a vintage S&W holster from the 80’s

I had a pretty full battery of S&Ws some time back, but then concentrated on the Single Action revolver. Did keep a few DA revolvers, though. My favorite is this Model 29 with 5" full lug barrel;

Pure elegance!

I’ve owned 4 S&W revolvers over the years but only have this one now, a generic 686 with Eagle Heritage grips. Target shooting, hunting, camp gun, home protection, it does everything well.
