Love the 681....with target grips no less!

Not the most beautiful. 317 AirLite. 8 shot .22LR. Purchased new on the last day of 2001. 11 ounces unloaded and the most difficult hammer to cock of any gun I own. Double action is 10lbs 8oz.

17-3 22LR. Dad bought this from one of his buddies around 1980. It was made in 1957, as far as I can tell. Target sights, trigger and grips. It's in amazing shape. At 40 ounces unloaded, it's almost as heavy as my GP100 6". Double action isn't light, as to be expected from a rimfire (7 1/2 lbs.) but it was built as a target pistol. The single action is just under 2 lbs. and very crisp.

The first handgun I fired as a kid. When I finally started shooting more and different guns, I was surprised how inaccurate they were. Years later, I realized I learned to shoot with a heavy gun, firing a light round that has good sights and an amazing trigger.

And it is beautiful, despite my poor photography.
