Almost seems blasphemy to ask, but is it drilled and tapped for a RDS mount? Eyes need help with those little 22 holes.

Lefty
It doesn't appear to have the extra holes like S&W has, there is one tapped hole for the rear sight and the cross pin like the Ruger has. There is one made for the GP but it's only held by 1 screw. I made my own mount for my GP100 because I didn't like the one that was available, mine uses the one screw and the cross pin to hold it.

Nope, for me ruins the lines of the gun. Now before you start yea I get it, poke holes in this that or the other as best you can and this helps.

Some things are both the thing they are trying to be, as well as art.

To me this is painting shades and a moustache on the mona lisa.

Nice, how's the sight? Does it wiggle like some of the KC Targets and Pythons? Guess I need to add one of these to the bucket list. Damn list keeps growing...

Now that you asked, I just checked and it does wiggle more than my other revolvers. It also moves front to back so I would think the sight hole for the cross dowel pin must be too big.

Sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do to be able to shoot.

If that .22 uses the same rear sight, and it looks like it is...it can be removed and a red dot mount can be had for around 50$

I called Colt about the sight and the nice lady said they all use the same one...but this was before the .22 was issued. So, I did.

On another note, I spoke with the guy Mr. Hefron, (who does trigger jobs for the factory)... he put one of those .22's in a Ransom machine rest and at 25 yards got 1/2" groups.

Since I can only count to six, I don't need one...but they shure is pretty.

Though I wouldn't kick one out of bed, I'm still struggling with all of those cylinder flutes. I guess I'd prefer a version with an unfluted cylinder, but it probably wouldn't stop me from buying one if the price was right and I had the scratch.

I’m not sure why, but the extra flutes on .22 revolvers with more than 6 shots have caught my eye since I first saw a H&R 999 long ago. I can’t help but like ‘em.

I have the 617 for training with my 686. Now that I see yours I want the King Cobra 22 that would match my Python perfectly. Beautiful gun by the way.
