I want to get a .22wmr rifle now that I have a mag revolver. What are some good ones? not particular about action or stock material. Also, anyone know any good gun shops in Oregon? Cabelas and sportsman’s have very limited options here

I am a CZ fan, but I do have a Ruger American in 22 mag that shoots really well. About MOA at 100 yards.

I do enjoy my Henry Golden Boy .22wmr, it's the only .22 Magnum I own in a rifle. It's very fun

Ruger 10/22 Magnum... If you can find one.
Ruger 96/22 lever action
Winchester 9422M lever
Marlin 25M bolt action
Savage 24 22Mag over 410 or 20ga
Stevens Favorite (2000's model)

I have no experience with CZs but i hear good things.

I have a Henry .22 WMR lever gun and a Ruger American Rimfire that now wears a Boyds laminated stock rather than the original black plastic-y one.

The Henry is lever-gun-fun to shoot and it pairs beautifully with the 6.5” Single Six wearing the .22 WMR cylinder. Shooting these two always brings a smile to my face.

But, the RAR is much more accurate in my hands. If I was hunting or plinking long range, this is the rifle I would choose.

Stay safe.

Title of this thread is "Best .22wmr rifle" In most references to rifles best usually means most accurate. Anschutz has well earned reputation as the most accurate rimfire rifles available, so I suspect that a best choice would be something like this Anschutz M-1522. I too would suggest The Ruger American Rimfire , I don't know where you live in Oregon but you better hurry up before the new law takes effect Dec 8th !, you will be waiting MONTHS and the new not yet developed course is expensive.
That Said Bradbury's Guns and Tackle in Grants Pass has handled my stuff I buy on line for years for a transfer fee including the state charges of $30 . Unfortunetly the current back log of background checks is 15,000 for non Concealed carry holders . = ?
Here is about as cheap as you will find one, buy it and have it sent to Bradbury's. call him and alert him and ask to be called when he has it, go in and start the paperwork, and come back in less than 30 days and before Ja 2023 to pick it up- Good luck.

I bought one of these to be a companion for my .22 Mag Pistols and am extremely happy with it and they comply with the new 10 round limit and the magazines are great functionaly and available reasonable. Cloverleaf acurate at 50 yards with good scope and rest. These have a roller locked action , are NOT blow back . Very nice , and cheap !

I also Have an Anschutz , they aren't cheap !
Here is the cheapest nice one you will find , you could have it sent it to Markely's too.

Those groups are very good, especially for .22 Mag, which hasn't been a very accurate round in the past. That's why I went to a .17 HMR which often shoots better than .22 WMR.

It seems quite accurate for a .22 WMR. JP
