From bulk to premium. It may have just been a bad gun. Just because it says Ruger Single Six on the side don’t mean crap if it’s a bad shooter.

It pays to consult your crystal ball before buying anything.

i have a 4.5” hrr bought new online ten years ago. it’s quite fine for what it is. i bought a new 6.5” online 1-2 years ago to see if the added barrel length made 22wmr worthwhile. shooting it with 22wmr wasn’t worth it, it felt like junk and i happily got rid of it. i would only bother with a hrr in 22lr and only if i could physically handle the exact one before purchase.
