Tossing around picking a Winchester M70 Coyote Light and looking for some feedback. Anyone have one or any history with one? I’ve noticed the threaded barrel models run a little cheaper than non-threaded on gunbroker, wondering why? What’s the difference between the Coyote and Long Range? Thanks in advance!

I handled an older used one at my LGS and liked the feel. Not sure if it was a Portugal model. It wasn’t the lightest rifle in the store but not bad for a target style gun. I’m liking the 24” barrel and flat bottom on the front of the stock.

I have an older M70 Coyote (non light) from when 270 WSM first came out. Its a fantastic shooter. AFAIK its nothing special other than the black receiver and matte stainless heavy varmint barrel with a wide-ish, flat-ish fore end.
