I have to brag.
I am usually a day late and a dollar short.

How much for that revolver?

"Just so you know, it's not normal. It is called a single action. You have to cock it to shoot it. You can't just pull the trigger. The bullets go in over here.... blah... blah... blah..."

Hmmm... Interesting...

"I'll take $300 for it."

Me on the inside :D:D:D

Nice revolver better price

Veeeery nice pickup there! Thats certainly a sweet Ruger and a great price.

When you get a chance to shoot it let us know how it shoots for you. :)

Stay safe.

very sweet deal! my only slight problem with the ruger single nine & ten stainless revolvers is that they are way too pretty (and expensive) to do this platform’s originally intended role mucking about as an outdoors sidearm, compared to a blued single six, i.e. showhorse versus plowhorse.

Being stainless, it is much tougher and impervious to the outdoors than it's blue counterpart.

The ONLY draw back to the Single-Ten is it is SLOW to reload.

IMO an 8 shot would be perfect. I have a Single Six in blue and stainless. Grandson carries the stainless more than I do. It looks new. The blue is a 3-screw, well used and well worn, shoots good as new. Both have magnum cylinders.

Great find. It will last several lifetimes. I would have been all over that 10. They are seldom seen for sale. 9s even less.

Well done!

Not that slow, I can burn through a brick of ammo in about 2hrs with one. Better with two, they will get too hot to handle. ;)

In training we were taught in an emergency, it only takes one round for a gun to be reloaded.

That gun is not typically thought of as a self defense weapon, but just something to keep in mind.

OP: Good luck with your new gun!

Great deal on an even better looking revolver! I want to get a single ten but just can't stomach MSRP. For $300 I'd of asked if they had more!

I like guns, and I will spend some money on em, but I never knew I "needed" so many different things until I found this forum!
I would like to replace my wrangler with a single ten like the Op's though. I had a single six back in the days of unemployment, and it went away to pay bills. If it had been a ten shot I'd still have it...

Massive congrats on a great revolver and even better deal!! I lucked into a similar deal a couple of years ago. (Wish it happened more often.) The best aspect was discovering that, for some reason, I shoot the Single-Ten better than a Single-Six. It's become my favorite 22lr single action.

If you rotate the cylinder correctly you can line up the holes in the gate and load 2 at a time. Lipsey sold the 4 3/4 barrel exclusively.
