Decided on a scope and questions about a rifle. Opinions.

Don't be "That Guy" I never falsified anything.
Oh come on now, one day you’re telling guys the target is 700 then when no one buys it you confess that it’s only 500 when it turns out it’s really only 400 and post a picture with shots covered up. You’re bragging about finding a load that shoots with absolutely no vertical at all at 3 grains less then gold medal match.
This stuff hurts credibility.

I noticed in some videos I've watched people have setups that can record down range. I will most likely purchase one for my own peace of mind so I know how I shot on a particular day. I have no problem sharing such videos. And in the meantime if you think of a way that I can record my progress easier I will gladly post it. But I won't argue the fact. Let's just take it as fact or fiction until I can get the recording gear and move away from that topic.

No one is trying to be mean or spiteful, we long range shooters work very hard at our discipline and have far more terrible targets then good ones. You only compete against yourself and a wind flag and when the stars align and conditions are perfect we are blessed with a good performance, then we go back to work.

I just want to chat and learn. That's all. I'll be the first to admit I'm green. I wanted to get the video equipment anyway so I would have it for myself.

I do not shoot that grouping at 500/400 yards everytime. I pick the best targets of the day and post them. I knew the grouping I was driving out to because I used a fellow shooters spotting scope.

Put out a target with a sighter bull then five more bulls, once your sighted in shoot those five bulls with three to five rounds each- take a center to center measurement on each group then add together and devide by the number of groups for your average ( aggregate) that’s what’s happening on that day.
At one thousand yards I’ve shot a 2.3 five shot group for record followed by a 4.6 my average was 3 something and good for second place THAT day period and to say I’m a quarter minute 1k shooter would be false.

Will do. That's some pretty amazing shooting at 1,000 yards. Congrats.

I'm not going to be shooting past 1,000 yards.

Shoot your 308 for another few weeks, by then the barrel will be toast, then rebarrel it to 6 BR. Or if your 110 Precision is large shank (and I believe they’re supposed to be), then rebarrel to 300wsm.

You’re going to want to boost your load to keep you out of transonic transition. The supersonic shockwave smacks your bullet in the ass when it crosses into the transonic transition boundary, and you’ll be going transonic well before 1000.

Just by researching what you wrote I increased my rifle IQ significantly. A .308 Win in comparison to other cartridges such as the 6.5 is inferior at 1,000 yards. At 1,000 yards the .308 will drop 41.6% more and drift 96.9% more then the 6.5 CM and go transonic (just learned what that meant) at just 63.2% of the distance.

This data caused me to go to the range today. It's only an 8 minute drive. I have not reloaded again due to work. I was in fact shooting the grouping I shared with everyone at 500 yards. I was incorrect in my estimation of 700 yards. The 500 yard range and the range that goes out to 1,000 are not next to each other. My 700 yard shooting group is in fact a 500 yard group as well. The reason it is not as closely grouped is because I incorrectly thought I was shooting at 700 yards. Yes, I feel like an idiot, yes, I have learned more in three days of getting roasted then I have learned in months, and yes, I will still film my 500 yard groupings.

Thank you to everyone who has and continues to help me. Just by reading Varminator's recent reply and doing research I feel much more confident in the direction I am heading.
