Do you have dedicated mags just for range?

I have 12 or 13 Magpul Glock mags for range use only. Load em up the night before so I don’t have to drop live ammo in the dirt at the range. Magpul mags have been so ridiculously reliable I’m starting to trust them like factory Glock magazines.

I have enough good 1911 mags that i have a set I save for major matches, a bigger set I use for local matches and the range. Also several just for carry that I shoot a little at the range. It's not neccessary because I haven't had troubles with them but I have enough so I use them this way.

Actually, I do have a separate set of magazines for my Anschutz rifle. I shoot small bore silhouette and have a separate range bag that I use only for matches. I keep an extra set of magazines in it. I also have a set of magazines in my regular range bag as well.

I have quite a few 10 round mags from living in CA that I now use as range mags. I still use my standard cap mags at the range as well. Also, I use the 10 rounder for load development. I load 10 rounds of each test load in each mag with a masking tape note on the floor plate indicating the powder charge and bullet. Makes it handy.

In most cases, yes- I have Glock, AR15, AR10, and 1911 mags just for the range. I also have some guns that are just for the range that don';t get cleaned too much. My primary carry pistol is a shield 9 and the mags are pretty pricey- no rubber made container of range mags for that one.

I have several inexpensive 9mm 1911 magazines i use at the range, None have had a functioning problem yet, durability will be interesting to learn, but a lot of rounds through all has been promising. I also have two non-manufactured mags for my Bersa Thunder .380 that function well for range use.

Factory Mini-14 mags are quite expensive, so despite warnings I tried aftermarket mags, none of which work well.

They're good for clearing drills at the range, because inevitably, they will misfeed.

Wish Magpul would get off their butt and make some aftermarket mags for Mini's. lol

Sure do. I save my MagPul Glock PMags for the range only since they all have issues in my pistols. I also keep the few ETS G43 mags around for stoppage drills since they are guaranteed to malfunction.
