Playing around with a prototype

Starting screwing around with a tool head stand for my XL650. Nothing pretty or too much detail yet but being how Dillons are $30.00 and this cost $0.00, what the hell.
Going to play around with a paint scheme and will probably machine a shell plate groove and some locator pin holes.

Now if you can figure out a way to stack them. That way, 3 or 4 can be stored in the same footprint.

I prefer gallon sip lock bags to keep dust out and little parts together.

Looks nice though, I too like making things out of free to me “drop” material.

We printed some. They seem to work well. I don't have machinist skills so I'm stuck with plastic.

I printed a couple for my buddy. He ended up with the wall mount version.
