My favorite is whichever I happen to be enjoying at a given time. Some have nostalgic reasons to be, some just feel right, some are iconic. All are loved and cherished. So, what was your question?
The J frame is slightly different from the K/L/N. They've all changed slightly over the years, but they're all essentially the same design as each other.does Smith and Wesson use the same lockwork for all their revolvers since the Model 10?
The Bodyguard 38 is quite different. (Not the 49 & 649, the Plastic Abomination.)Forgive my ignorance here, but does Smith and Wesson use the same lockwork for all their revolvers since the Model 10? I've googled it a couple times and never found a straight answer.
I had forgotten about that one.The Bodyguard 38 is quite different. (Not the 49 & 649, the Plastic Abomination.)
I had forgotten about that one.
Now I have to try to forget about it all over again.
I can't wait to shoot it.@Palladan44 Nice way to revive a thread.
I must say, that is a very nice shooter.
From your pic, you could tell me that's a 27 and I'd believe it....Having owned a few over the years, I like the N frames. And this one is my favorite, just something about the all business 4” Model 28 Highway Patrolman. Found it used with box at a gun show back in 1998 for $225. Added the target grips from a Florida gunsmith friend on AOL’s gun forum for $25.
