Its an OG blast from the past...from far in the future!

Looks like a Wolf and Klar gun.
From the year 2924, lol
Talk about one of one.

Whoo boy, now that I just crawled out of the rabbithole I jumped down when I picked up a high condition Remington Rand, looks like I get to jump back down into the rabbithole looking at Wolf and Klar guns with possible "gangster" era connections.

Edit: so it shipped to Wolf and Klar 2 weeks before Bonnie and Clyde's 1908 did.
Wow.

Well I'll be darned. So check this out.
The 1908 hammerless that Clyde Barrow bought from Wolf and Klar is about 800 numbers off of mine. My gun shipped to W&K two weeks before Bonnie and Clyde's gun

It is entirely possible that this gun was in the case when Clyde Barrow walked in and bought his 1908. He might have laid eyes on this gun.
It is not impossible that he might have handled this gun while choosing his.

Edit: nope, almost certainly B&C didn't purchase their gun in person at W&K, since they didn't even meet until 1930...long after the 1924 shipping dates

Man, one of my all-time favorite Colts. I just have never seemed to find a specimen in the condition I desire. What a cool pistol.

Guessin' Beverly didn't proofread the letters she was signing...
