I put a huge Bush-Cheney sign on the unoccupied land in front of my neighborhood last night (after Kerry conceded) and this afternoon when I get home someone has already taken it.

Sore losers?

Maybe, or maybe not.

Most signs have come down from private property as well as signs that were posted on public right-of-ways.

Honestly, I find them to be a terrible eyesore (although I do admit I had much more tolerance for Bush/Cheney signs :D )

Maybe somebody just decided enough was enough.

I always go pick them up after an election... the make great target stands for up at the cabin! Just keep taping targets or paper plates to them. Sooner or later they will tear in two - but that's why there are so many of them.

You're lucky it was on vacant land. Here in Portland (land of liberal enlightenment:rolleyes: ) a Bush/Cheney sign in front of your house could earn you a brick through your living room window or "BUSH" and "Your Stapid"* spray painted all over your house.

*The liberal elitists who did this were esspert spellurz, no doubt highly edumicated. The "a" in "Stapid" was painted over with a "u" and they did that twice (on garage door and side of house.) It made the erroneous use of "Your" seem quite minor.:D

My Bush/Cheney sign is still on my front lawn. I want all the local Democrats or those who voted for Kerry/Edwards to see it as they pass by to remind them of who won the election. :p
