Reading this reminded me of a bumper sticker I saw in one of my magazines.

Incidentally the author writes of all the fire in the Ghetto. The fire was intentional. Gen. Stroop apparently was taking too many casualities trying to root out the Jewish fighters so he decided to burn down the Ghetto.

Stroop's actual losses are apparently unknown. It is suspected that he wanted to cover it up from Berlin. In one incidence alone, about 80 Nazi troops were killed or wounded by a command detonated mine.

The number and types of weapons the Germans recovered may not really indicate the true amount and types of weapons the Jews employed. The reason is so much of the Ghetto was burned to the ground and the weapons destroyed, as well as the fighters may have hidden other weapons.

The uprising had been planned for months and quite a few weapons and explosives had been accumlated.

Here's hoping that we can keep life in the RKBA, that at least one place on earth will retain the means to stop tyranny and genocide so another young girl isn't huddled in a burning bunker, with silence as her best weapon.

Snopes indicates the above quote is false. However, I have no doubt that Hitler did believe in the words, he just didn't say it in that sense.

Running through the night in the big rig, I caught "Red Runs The Vistula", a powerful radio program with many first person accounts from participants. There are links to the complete audio and to the transcript on the web page.

Man, talk about a kick in the nuts. Reading it made me queasy. Anyone that reads that and advocates "sensible gun control" has no brain. :banghead:

Made me want to cry and do a weapons check at the same time.
