Prayers

The little ones are truly the innocent ones and my and my family's prayers are being said for the quick recovery of your daughter.

God Bless you and your family. Chances are that she will be well soon...this is why we as parents get gray hairs.

Builds our character, right? Also makes us appreciate them more.

Please hug her for us.

We will pray for your daughter.

I have 3 and have BTDT. There is no feeing in the world like the helplessness that goes with a sick child.

"Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15) And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up." James 5:14-15

God Bless

You got it! Kids are pretty resilient, but having an extra angel or two flying air cover never hurts. Best wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery

From my whole family our prayers are with your daughter.

My wife, the very good nurse that she is, tells me that this is not uncommon with children under three. She says their systems aren't mature and don't regulate as well. She also says Tylenol instead of motrin works better at reducing fever and she believes is less likely to come back up.

God be with you all.

As the father of little girl who just turned 1 on the 19th, i share your pain.

My prayers are with you.

Prayed for your daughter and whole family. All things are possible through Christ.
Psalms 42:1
As a deer pants for water,
so does my soul pant for thee oh God.

Update on the little one.....

Well, I spent most of yesterday at the hospital with her and Mommy. (The wife is staying with her while I take care of the dogs, etc.)
She'd been feverish off and on through the night, and the doc said they might have to do minor surgery to drain the infection better. When the surgeon came by, she'd gotten a lot better, and he said they wouldn't need the surgery.
Poor kid, she kept yanking her IV out. They had it taped up pretty well, but that didn't stop her. The nurses kept remarking on how strong she is. Lol, look at the size of her dad. She comes from good scandinavian/Scottish stock.
So, today she's doing a lot better,(she's off the IV) and hopefully she comes home tomorrow. It's awful here without her. I can't seem to stay busy enough. I've been on the weight bench most of the night. ouch.

Here's a link to a picture of her, if you're interested.
I've been rather lax in putting up new pictures, so this is an old one, from when she was 5 months.

That is a great picture. I'm glad she is recovering. When one of my little ones was in the hospital I just couldn't bear all the needles. Needles don't bother me at all when I get a shot or IV but in those tiny arms? Sad, especially when they are incompetant and can't find the vein.
