Florida Shoot?

Earlier I posted that you needed to be a member of the NRA to shoot at Manatee. I was wrong. It seems that I misread the info brochure.

You only have to be a member of the NRA "If you wish to join the club"

I'm in- if ya'll don't mind a beginner taggin' along! All I have is my .38- buncha wad cutters and a handful of hydra shok. It'll be my first time at a gun club. Had the basics class and got my CWP. Don't know many places around here that I can go, yet. Don't often get time to go either so please, bear with me. I'm taking a personal day off and I NEVER do that! Time for a break Boss man can't say no! Sounds like a great way to spend a Friday- can hardly wait!!!

Four days 'til the fruckus!

Any other FL folks wanna join the fun? We only have five, maybe six so far.

I'm hoping the rain blows out for Friday. The field needs to dry out a day or two.
Does anybody have a digital camera they want to bring to document the frukus?

I'm game for Manatee at 0900 on Friday (do I have the date/time right?).

Yep, bring guns, lots of ammo, eye and ear protection, and have a good time.

Loadin' up. I may be there a bit after 0900 though. It's 252 miles from here as mapquest and the website instructions figger. With a short stop for gas ice for the water and soft drinks, and breakfast at a Cracker Barrell.

Manatee is a great facility.

I'd like one with a little more looseness (the antithisis of safety)

It's a very good range, but perhaps we need to spread out a little.

Of course I don't have a range nearly as nice as Manatee in the immediate area.
