I love my parents sometimes. :D (99% of the time, that 1% is political arguments)

"Dad, Jessica and I have a money problem...." :( (I was simply expecting to rant, and have him listen.)

After my rant, without saying a word he pulled out his wallet and handed me $140 in twenties. :what:

Like I said, I love my parents.

(He will be getting paid back, whether he wants it or not.)

So we're back in. For now, anyway. You never know what'll happen in my life, I swear....

One last post for now, I swear I don't triple-post often... :D

Any money we can spare is going to cheap birdshots of various brands, along with cheap buckshot and some slugs if I can find them (again, cheap). Here in MA, mailorder is out so it's tough to find deals.

Soooo, I guess what I'm saying is, if you see a good deal on some slugs (S&B, etc) I'll pay you for a box or two (if they come in 5rd or 10rd, whatever, as long as they're less than $5/box!!!) Same goes for cheap buckshot. Birdshot is easy enough to get.

Go to Four Seasons in Woburn. They have good prices on Shotgun fodder. If that is to far away, go to Walmart and get their 100 rnd value pack. Basically 4 boxes of 25 shotgun shells.

These are probably your best options.

AG Guns is where I'll buy the birdshot, but their buck and slugs are too expensive.

Walmart and Four Seasons don't want my business, obviously - the help is atrocious.

Third_Rail-

Don't get stressed out about this- it's supposed to be fun. Even if you show up with 4-5 shots, one for me, one for who ever else, I'll be happy. I just want to try, and, well, one shot works for me.

Also, I go more for the "group" part of it. Last time I watched more than shot- I just like being out playing with y'all.

I have a bunch o 9mm and some .22 that I can liberally share, not to mention some other stuff. Don't worry.

We will still have fun.

RR- Check PM

Oh, I know - it's that I want to get Jessica some trigger time on the 12 gauge - it is our home defense weapon, afterall.

Yeah, I can't wait either.

Does ANYONE have a half decent folding table that they can bring EASILY to hold some stuff? We may need it...

My only table is a plastic job that will probably not hold much weight.

Let me know.

Anyone else interested in the deli sandwhiches?

If we weren't coming in a two door Pontiac, we could bring a good table... but we are coming in a two door Pontiac, so that's out.

We're looking forward to this as well!

I thought food + firearms (lead residue, etc.) wasn't a good mix?

Kingson's Girlfriend again... I really need my own posting name...anyhooo..one has to keep the strength up in order to keep shooting....I am bringing homemade brownies and if time permits maybe some homemade cookies too :)

Heh, alright. Count us in for food, then - I'll bring some wet-naps or something so we can at least all have clean hands when grabbing some food if we've already been shooting. :)

I CAN'T WAIT!!! :D

The suspense is killing me!!! :D :D

I'm currently gathering everything I need to bring... ammo... wetnaps... earplugs... glasses.... more ammo.... ammo.... some ammo.... shotgun... ammo.... :D

Oops, I should go gather some ammo.

Aspirin too, I'll be aching when we're through.

Ok, I'm Jewish, but I feel like what I have always imagined a child would feel like on Christmas Eve...

(corny)My wife is going. My Wife is going. Hi, ho, the Derry oh, my wife is going.(/corny/)

I am bringing a couple of tall (3-4') boxes to use as target stands, as well as my 1 target stand. RR1- you have the tape again?

Also, I found out that the one of their teams will be practicing, but this should have no impact on us.

Rockrivr1, Clocktower and Jrob24: Want to start at the pistol again, then move to rifle, or just go to rifle? The team will be at the Silhouette range next to thge rifle range, so we will have a bit more company than last time when we are over there. I know we had discussed just setting up at the rifle with a "short range", but we may need to see what the crowd is, and split it up like last time.

Anyone that wants my cell, please PM me for it.

* PLEASE CALL MY CELL IF YOU ARE RUNNING LATE/ GOING TO BE A NO SHOW. WE ALL HAVE TO SIT AND WAIT FOR EVERYONE AND GO IN AS A GROUP. PLEASE TAKE THE HIGH ROAD AND HAVE RESPECT FOR US AND NOT MAKE US SIT AND WAIT FOR SOMEONE THAT IS NOT COMING!!!

I'll be bringing my camera as well... Jessica said she'll snap some photos of my grin, and I'll do likewise. All the pictures will be put up Sunday night/Monday morning in General. :)

Kingson's girlfriend again....Look I got my own screen name....Anyway...Is there a street address for this place or are we looking for the "old dirt road 4 oaks down on the right" :D
I am bringing a digital camera too...Maybe I will make a scrap book out of this.

See you tomorrow. We are leaving here around 8:00 AM.

It's actually 5 oaks... :neener:

DIRECTIONS:
Directions are pretty easy- 93N (or south) to Route 89N (right before you get to Concord). Get off at exit 2. Left at end of ramp. Go 4-5 miles, and Pioneer is on the right. As far as landmarks, there aren't really any. Best bet is to watch for the "Entering Dunbarton" sign (small sign on the right); it's not too far after that. Pioneer has a big white sign. The road to get in is a dirt road, ok for cars to travel on. We can meet at the clubhouse. I will probably be in a Silver Jeep Grand Cherokee...the one with the sedated wife!!!

-----------------------------------------------
Also, watch speed limits, there is usually an officer or two along the way.

I noticed that you get off in Concord, the next town is Bow, and the next town is Dunbarton. Also, right after you get off of 89, there is a blinking light. AFTER the club is another one at route 13. If you hit that one, you've gone too far.

We'll be leaving around 9:45 or so, giving us an hour to get there... Shouldn't be too bad, though.

So, let me make sure on this one - we go on 3N, from there hit 93N, drive drive drive, wait for an exit that says "Route 89N" and go on that, then get off at exit 2. From there we drive until we see "Entering Dunbarton", then when we see the big white Pioneer sign, start looking for a dirt road. After the initial exit 2 blinking light, if we see another we've gone too far.

Question - are there any tolls we need to prepare for?

Hi guys,
Change in plans we can no longer make it. I'm sorry I'm going to miss meeting everybody. Hopefully we can do this again. Have fun and be safe.
Rick

That's a shame! Well, next time then.

As for my question regarding direction... I meant 495N to 93N... Duhh.. :banghead:

RCM, too bad, hopefully next time.

Third Rail- Yes, your directions look good. There is one toll booth after exit 10- 75 cents. 89 is an exit or two after that- you can't miss it, it's a major route. Also, the white Pioneer sign is at the dirt road.

I'm going to turn in for the night.

I will check in tomorrow AM (probably early, like 6ish and 8ish) for any last minute direction clarification/ cell phone/ general question posts/ pm's.
