One reason I wouldn't want to mess with Americans...

What was that? It looked like, well, like a Huey!...

I mean, I was infantry and we didn't get all that vehicle recognition training that the armored folks used to, but I thought I could ID a Cobra...

ugh....couldn't get the link to work...maybe the server is getting pounded.... :(

Not sure about the Blackhawk. It seemed like the tailboom had the slightly "hang-downish" look of the Lynx. Do the British fly armed gunship Lynx (or is it Lynxes, Lynxi?) in the Basra area? Anyway, way cool, minigun, rockets, a 20mm (or bigger) pounding somebody who "needed pounding".

I think the tracers just create a hot spot for the heat-seekers to home in on..... Well, it could be!! Good thing those air-scooter jockeys weren't REALLY PO'd!

Love it!
Stay safe.

Impressive, BUT

not nearly as impressive as an AC-130H Spectre....There was some video of one of those in action, at night a while back (wish I'd bookmarked or downloaded it)...Showed it to someone and they said "are those spotights on the side of the plane?" I hadda explain that they were actually multiple guns firing at such a high rate that the stream of shells looked almost like a laser beam!

Yeah, AH-60, MH-60, one of those Spec Ops rotor units out of Hurlburt. I'd sure hateto be on the recieving end! :what: Hind D/E's were in my nightmares when I was in.
