A few of you may know cdlubbe , "Chuck" was only a member here for a short while , mainly coming over from the S&W board after some urging from a few of us to help folks find the accessories for S&W revolvers. A more polite and honest man would be hard to find. He left behind a wife and daughter , and a wonderful legacy of honest dealing. Gone too young...

Chuck passed at home Sept 19th , I don't know the circumstances of his death.

Chuck was a prolific collector of modern S&W's , mainly big bore snubs , he also had a seemingly endless cache of grips, cleaning kits, boxes and other accessories.

I didn't ask you for anything, not my loss - not thehighroads loss , but the gun community lost a good one, No he really didn't participate here, he didn't talk politics , he didn't argue about locks , he didn't care about SHTF stuff or group buys, but i'll bet more than a few members had stellar dealings with him, he was a class act. I know 10 or 12 folks from here that I referred to him privately that were very happy. He posted his full phone # in just about every post at S&W and a few in the classifieds here, he trusted gun folks and he earned their trust.

Casey, cool your guns! All I meant was I don't know what to think of this because he never typed anything here, so I have no idea who he was or what he was about. Now you may be quick to judge my wording, but I was infact sincere. You mentioned him, nobody else ... so that's where the "Sorry for your loss" came in. Anyhoo, why the hell should I have to explain myself?? You go ahead and take it for whatever it's worth to you! END

He was a nice guy. I corresponded with him via email a couple times. I know he had a helluva S&W revolver collection. Prayers for him and his family.

I bought some grips from him and interacted with him some over on the S&W Forum. Outstanding young man. You could bank on his for sale descriptions being meticulously correct. The gun owners community is diminished by his loss.

While I did not know this man, my heart and prayers go out to his friends and family. I don't think it really matters if he posted a lot here or he posted nothing here. There is a seemingly good family man gone who was part of the gun community. I think it would be fitting to show some respect for the friends and family that he had who may happen to read this thread.

I didn't know the man, but I'm willing to take the word of those who did.

Any time an honest man, loving husband and father passes away, it's a loss for us all.

His family will be in my thoughts and prayers. How sad. I lost my father in March... You are never really prepared no matter what the circumstances are. Sundden or long term death your just never ready. :(

I exchanged several emails with him regarding some semi-collectable S&W's, and solicited his advice. He was unfailingly helpful and polite. We are all diminished. God rest his soul, and comfort his family.
