The gun continues to impress me.... Its fast becoming my all around favorite fun gun shooter.... No malfunctions or jams at all either..

I've shot a friends Bersa 9mm. We ran about 100 rds right after he got it and it ran perfectly. The sight were a little big for accurate shooting but would be great for combat, which is what the guns made for anyway. That gun more than any other DA/SA was real natural to draw and c0ck the hammer back as I was bring it up to line of site and shoot the first shot SA. It happens in one fluid motion. I've been looking for one of thier all nickel or duo-tones in .45 for a while now.

Oh No!:uhoh: Don't tell me this is a pistol from Spain, like the Llamas, Astras, and Stars? Everyone tells me they are a POS. You know, all the "experts" who never get off their "fat-butt" to do any shooting, except with their mouth.:p
Enjoy your fine-looking pistol....

Bersas are Argentinian and have a good reputation, unlike the llamas which firestorm also markets.

Mr. Pot I'd like you introduce you to Ms. Kettle.

Nice 9mm

can you tell me how much larger the bersa 9mm here is compaired to the Bersa thunger 380. which is what I carry 99% of the time.

thanks

If you look at the measurements on that website he linked to, it actually looks like the 9mm is smaller than the .380. But then again I was never good with fractions if it's not 1/4, 1/2,3/4 etc. :)

Two questions:
1.Does the bore axis seem to be above your hand or "high"?
2.What's the trigger like,both da/sa?

first off. The Firestorm is made my Bersa. Sorta like Mercury is made by Ford. Its differences are..
* trigger guards are different.
* grips have finger grooves and side panels are different on the Firestorm.

Second..

The pistol (for me) is a natural shooter. Th axis seems about right on. A bit above my hand.
trigger is nice and crisp. The DA is too heavy for my liking but the SA is sweet and meduim light and breaks nice..

I don't recall thinking the bore axis was high, so it probably wasn't. I do recall the trigger being real close to the trigger on my Sig p239, with the DA pull being a bit longer, but actually a hair lighter. The SA pull was just a light and crisp as the Sig's, which for a gun at almost half the price impressed me. The only thing I didn't care for was the finish on the slide, but that could be easily fixed with a trip to Tripp's.

Flashpoint-I am very familiar with the 239.does the bore axis seem as high as the Sig?Incidentally, thanks for the response,I love cheap guns.

The bore axis on the Bersa will fill about the same or maybe a little lower. I don't think I'd call he Bersa a cheap gun, but defiantly a inexpensive gun, and yeh, I lovem' too. :D

I got to handle one of these Mini-Firestorm 9's today at a gun show. I was not impressed. It was heavy and actually seemed bigger than my XD-40 Sub. Maybe it was just me, but it didn't look as if it would be a comfortable option for carry. I was actually hoping to see some Kahr offerings, but no one had any, save for a few P9's that were used. No new Kahr's, especially the CW9 that I REALLY want to get a look at. Also didn't see any Kel-Tec offerings, except for a 32 acp. Bah.

Firestorm/Bersa mini 9 mm

New to this forum and I just purchased a Firestorm/Bersa mini 9 mm n/plated handgun from AuctionArms and hope to have it next week. Got it for $225 and feel that was a fair price. If it's half as good as the Bersa Thunder 380 I bought last year I will be real happy. Any suggestions on good place to get clips at a lower price. From what I read they are around $45 ea.
