If so, what is your experience? Good? Bad? Does it enlarge the grip of a Glock like a Hogue grip?

Thanks,

AGrip doesn't add any bulk at all - it's almost paper thin.

I put one on my Glock 30, because when my hands are very damp in summer or very dry in winter, the stock plastic grip seems squirmy. The Agrip made a big difference, and just "feels" better on the pistol.

I think they're a little expensive - mine was about 30 dollars 3 years ago ....

If the pistol grip is already marginal (I have small hands), then the A-grip will push it just over the edge to where it will not comfortably fit. At least for me.
I encountered this with one of my ex G30's. The gun barely fit my hand as it was and the Agrip made it very uncomfortable to reach the trigger or any of the controls!! Now, my Wife's G26 is a different story. It has an Agrip and it's presence does nothing to encumber the fit!!

Not to argue with Denfoote's experience with Agrip, for, after all, it is HIS experience; however, it's hard for me to visualize how something so thin could affect one's ability to reach the trigger. After the Agrip's been used for a short time, it becomes so "thin" that it takes on the grooves and writing on the grip.

I use and highly recommend Agrips.

agrips work, they last and they're very comfortable. My carry glock wears an agrip.

I use one on a Kahr PM9 and it has helped give me a more secure grip. Plactic grips tend to move around in my hand from recoil. The agrip seems to overcome
that problem without increasing the size of the grip.

I had a Glock 26. I added a Hogue Handall and then used A-Grip on top of it. The grip felt great, stood up to cleaning solvents, and never worked loose.

It did not grab the covering garmet, added nothing to the width of the grip, and aided with slippery, wet shooting conditions. It went with the gun when I sold it but if I had another gun that did not have wood grips, I'd use it again,

John

Love it!
It's the best traction-getter on the market. Polymer guns tend to get slick with even a little dampness. I've used it for 7 years on my G23, I've replaced it once.
I felt no difference at all in grip size. It doesn't stick to cover garments, and works great even wet. Everything he claims is true
I've put it on my hand tools too. You can get sheets / strips of it pretty cheap.
Brooks is a nice guy, he'll answer any questions you have if you give him a call.

Makes you wonder why a rubber band costs $30.00
Why can't Glock put some (worthwhile) checkering on their grips? This is a problem I'd found with all the plastic framed guns untill the Taurus 24/7.

I put one on Glock 29. Yep, they are semi-pricey and I did have to get out the old reading glasses to follow the quite detailed installation instructions, but mine has worked as advertised.

I much prefer stair or skate tape. Of course, my guns are easy as they don't have those damn fingergrooves.

Try www.EricWesselman.com for this:

Eric has a good product and provides excellent service and the CNC cut of the material is really nice for those of us who are very picky about appearances. However the material that his product is made of is the exact same material sold at Galyans as skate board tape. You can get a square yard of it there for less than the price of one CNC'd grip. I tried to carry my G17 with one of Eric's grips installed and it stuck to my cover garment something fierce. I think it's probably superior to the Agrip for competition. I am quite happy with my velvet-elvis-agrip on my G26 for daily carry.

AGrip is the Bomb-diggity. (Hi Tazz, its me, Mr. Goldberg, you will recognize my beretta below)..

I have 3 glocks in it, did a custom jobby on a beretta jetfire just for fun (on brookstactical.com) and on an sp101 Crimson Trace grip. I have been using it on my glocks for 8-9 years, and it has never given me any concern or flaw.

especially on grip recuded jobbies like on my glocks, i smoothed down the finish and spread on an agrip and its been a party ever since...

I wanted to do my steering wheel (i often race track) but it would be too pricy.

Cant say anything bad about the stuff... below is a taste:

My experiment gone fun... '70's urban cammo' Brooks dubbed it my 'pimp gun'

A crimson Trace laser for sp101, was small for my hand, the AGrip helped mucho with control, but selling the gun, and the laser/AGrip/combo is currently on ebay

I had an Agrip on my 26. It worked great and was easy to put on. After a couple of years it started to lose adhesion and the edges began to peel. I haven't replaced it. I liked it, but decided it wasn't worth the cost to replace it.
