Mauser SP66

I'd never heard of it, so I Googled it and came up with a few sites (including Max Popenker's and a blurb on SniperCentral).

Are you looking to buy one? Have you handled it, or are you contemplating a sight-unseen purchase?

Funny you should bring this up.I just recently came across a site selling original stocks and scope mounts for the IDF SP66.Thought mabe i'd build a clone but Mauser 66 actions seem to be neither cheap nor readily available.Found a few model 66 hunting rifles that could be used as a base but they were going for a grand.Doesn't really help you but i;d be very interested as well in the accuracy of this weapon.Maybe check http://www.snipershide.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi
