The cheaper $300 one, not the pistol grip $1200+ model.

I shouldered one of these awhile back and it fit like a glove, plus I love the ghost ring sights! The plastic furniture was nothing to look at, but it felt great!

I'm just looking for some firsthand reports on how you like or don't like it. For all I know it jams easily or parts fall off of the thing. Kick like a mule? Pattern poorly? Rust in a week? I wanna know!

I don't own one yet but I shot one at a school I went to. I love the sights and it shot just great for me. I fired about 30 rounds out of it during a tactical combat course. I do own a Nova in .20 ga I use for rabbits. It's accurate, reliable, and takes abuse.:D

Great shotgun.

My fiance has one. Ok, fine. I admit it, it's her weapon but I'm the one that wanted it. :D

In my opinion, it's a great shotgun. Smooth and reliable thus far. Recoil is like any other pump shotgun that I've used.

Patterns are a shotgun-to-shotgun and load-to-load basis. I lucked out. What patterns great in my m1s90 performs nearly the same in the Nova. These loads just so happen to be the Federal LE 132/133 shotshells.

Love the gun, it's nearly my favorite pump, ousting the win1300 on my list of favorites.

I have one and love it. I use it occasionally for 3-gun fun. I added the shell extension and it rocks. I also own a M-1/super 90 as well and it is my usual 3-gun shotgun. For some reason I think my Nova only holds 7rounds with the extension while the super 90 holds 8.

My dad has one for police work and i've taken it deer hunting and shot it a few times. never jammed once, finish if very durable. it chambers 3 1/2" shells and i shot one of the 3 1/2" slugs. Don't do that with just a t-shirt on. I know that much from first hand experience.

Great shotgun for the price. nice sights, no problems after 2 years of use.

backlash, were I in California, the Nova would be my weapon of choice. See if you can get some of the reduced recoil slug and buck. I have fired the slugs in a Nova, and they are deadly accurate. I have a M1 Super90 Tactical, and it is about my favorite weapon out to 150 yards. I use the same Ranger Tactical slugs in it. I can regularly shoot a 4" group at 100 yards with the Benelli. Great choice.:D

Hey measure the trigger pull on the Nova. Mine was 14pounds and long and scratchy like a Sigma S&W:barf: I wonder if they got wise.

Do I need to get a different bbl and/or choke tube to shoot slugs? I was going to pick up some slugs and 00 buck when I pick up my Nova today (12:59pm). I wanted to shoot both (slugs & buck) today.

Thanks for the reply Duke!

Went to the range yesterday with my new Nova, didn't pickup any slugs or buck, I have about 100 shells of birdshot and will prob go through all that before getting some buck or slugs. The ghost rings on this thing are bad ass!!! I did notice just a little more kick out of mine compared to my friends Mossberg 500, this is only with 2 3/4 shells though.

I can't wait to try some 3 1/2" shells

Did you guys get an owners/instruction manuals with your Nova? There was not one in the box, I have found an online version though.
