"The finger extension is welcome, but that rail, why would people mount lights on a pocket pistol? "

Don't you want to mount a flash light on your pocket guns? I want a place to mount a flash light and laser. I also need a night vision scope and a red dot. With a little work you can make this thing as big and bulky as a Desert Eagle! Sweeeeeat! Wait, what was the point of this pistol again? That's right, it is meant as a CCW pistol. I guess the rail really doesn't make a lot sense now that I think of it.

If this is as well built and as reliable as most Kel-Tecs, it could turn out to be the biggest POS ever made! Kel-Tec is about half a notch up from Jennings and Bryco and about half a notch below Hi-Point. I am still trying to understand how they stay in business.

Trying to understand might be your biggest problem. That would take reason. Have you ever TRIED one? I've been happy with mine for 8 years. It has NEVER jammed, is 3.5" accurate at 25 yards, and is easy to carry, quick to deploy. I don't know how it gets any better for $5K. Hey, if it works, it works!

Here's how it works.

I like how the magazine never runs empty. LOL!

Well, I guess BOBO will have to add this one to the list.

As to concealability and carryability, I find narrow width and light weight are more useful than short height and short length. The P32 and P3AT convinced me of that.

I'll let this one get some street use for a while then I will surely buy one.

Seeing as this is a new model, I have serious doubts that you have been happy with yours for 8 years.

al-b, ol' buddy... I think if you read his post, it's pretty easy to see he's referring to Kel-Tec in general, not this specific new model... :scrutiny:

MC... lol... but that wouldn't fit in my pocket... :D

If the trigger is better than the P-11, that alone would convince me to buy one.

Why are the triggers in P-11s so bad? I could never understand that. The P32/P3AT triggers are pretty good straight out of the box, but that P-11...

The trigger on the P11 is not bad IMHO. It's very smooth, lighter than most S&W revolvers, and long. My P11 breaks around 10 lbs. Most DA revolvers break anywhere from 11-13 lbs. That all adds up to a safe, yet shootable gun to carry with no safeties to mess with, just draw and shoot. I'm pretty fast and accurate with mine and I've still got the stock trigger in it. I never went for the 8 lb spring conversion others seem to think necessary.

The one thing I could live without is the staging of the trigger at the end of the pull on the P11. While that helps me off sand bags, it detracts in off hand combat type shooting. I might get a trigger shoe for it, might help with that terribly narrow trigger. But, I shoot it fine as is. I like DA revolver like triggers. They're safe to carry and if you learn to use one, deadly accurate as any single action. Jerry Mikulek has been proving that for years in competition with tuned 1911s using out of the box Smiths!:D I'm no Jerry Mikulek, but I can shoot a DA well. I look upon the P11 as a very smooth DA revolver that I can reload quicker. I ain't worth a crap with speed loaders.

This has serious potential. A little bit of a "fluff and buff" to smooth up and lighten the trigger, a good pocket holster, and it looks like a good competitor for the Rohrbaugh. Sure, it's a little bit bigger, but it's smaller than the J-frame that currently has pocket duty. My only observation is the height. But, a quick trip to the friendly neighborhood belt sander will fix that! :D

So people- would you rather have this or the new 18 shot (9x19) Millenium Pro compact?

Just when you think you have everything, along comes someone that claims the Kel-Tec P-11 trigger is better than a S&W revolver trigger!:scrutiny: I don't know what kind of S&W revolvers you have been shooting but I know I have never seen a S&W revolver with as bad a trigger as the P-11s I have tried. The P-11s I have tried were quite a bit heavier than 10lbs and not very smooth. Maybe you got a really good one but most that I have seen had bad triggers. That is one of the first things most people notice about the P-11, the long heavy trigger.

I'm afraid you are all going to run out and buy one of these and if it does not work properly, you will all be very disapointed!

Instead of that happening, you should wait until I get mine first. Than I'll try it out and than after I tell you it is fine, I mean after I test it and make sure it works, you can all run out and get yours too.:)

Nah, let 'em buy now and when they decide they don't like it we can come in and buy one cheap :D

The PF-9 (pistol flat – nine) was not designed as a true pocket pistol but as the thinnest and lightest 9mm being manufactured for concealed and carry. It will not cut into the Kel-Tec bread & butter P-3AT, who 1,000 units per week yield excellent profit.

I believe the market for this pistol is for those PM9 buyers that only have $250-$275 to spend. While those low-prices won’t be seen until year-end, the MSRP is the same as the P-11, so they will get there.

I'm still thinking that's a misprint. Until I hear otherwise, I think it'll be a standard 12-round 9mm pistol with the option of using 17-round 24/7 magazines that won't fit flush.

I hope its a misprint. While the 24/7 PRO is a decently compact gun, if the new one takes the 17-rnd 24/7 mags as standard it'll be so long in the grips it'd hardly be worthwile to have shortened the barrel.

I like the little Kel-Tec, be intersting to compare its next to my Kahr PM40.

I like it and will buy the first one I see even at the MSRP. In fact, I just sold my P11 in anticipation of buying this when it's available. The P11 really didn't fit any niche with me, it's not enough smaller than my Glock 26 to supplant it as my main carry weapon and as a pocket rocket it's not up to my P40. But I can see this possibly supplanting my P32, at least on some occasions.

I want one and I want it now! Wilson, do you have one already? You &#*$*@&%!!! Tell me where you got it and you won't get hurt! ;)

Wilson, are the pictures of both of those pistols from the same scale?

From the dimensions I have seen, I did not think there was that much difference in size!
