I shot my brand new Glock 19 today, about 200 rounds of 115 gr. Blazer. I absolutely love it, it is now my favorite Glock. It shoots almost like a 17, but carries almost like a 26, it’s a wonderful compromise. The accuracy is outstanding, I haven’t decided whether or not to get a Hogue grip for it since I have larger hands, but I’m able to grip it fairly effectively now. I’ll do a complete range report once I’ve carried it for a week or two and put another 2 or 3 hundred rounds through it. So far, this thing is a keeper.

I truely believe that the G19 is the G-Machine. Perfect size-capacity-weight ratio. The best gun in my book that Glock has produced.

Well I just picked up a G19. I love it, but it won't replace my G26 as my primary CCW. Why, the 26 is more covert. I do carry the 19 when I'm in areas that I'm uncomfortable with. I also will take both at night and in bad areas when I must go there.

The G26 with a G19 mag fitted with an A&G sleeve makes a nice carry piece. Still not as concealable as the plain ol G26, but a pretty neat package.

If you'd like to "bulk up" your G19's grip, I'd suggest using a Hogue Handall and cover that with Agrip.

I really like the 19, it's my primary......

I had a G19, it was my verry first handgun. It was a gen 3 with a slug plug, xm6 tac light, 15 round mag, and the houge rubber grips, i thought of it as my *tactical* pistol, i really liked it but did some thing stupid and sold it to get money to get a Colt Series 70, and yes now im regretting it and i do miss that pistol a lot:( :banghead:

But just for the record i do love my Colt, i just wish i still had the Glock...

G19 and G17 are my favorite Glocks...right behind the G34. And this is from a dyed-in-the-wool 45acp guy. Good purchase. Practice a lot and remember the 4 rules. :)

+1 on the G19.

Here is my mine which I got a couple of months ago. It has an OD Green frame which makes seeing the dirt on the frame a little easier.
