Check it out when you get a chance:

shootinggallery.tv

Am trying to really ramp up what the site can do, including original aritcles and blogs, links to other gun blogs, etc. Will have audio up in a couple of weeks (I gotta go make a living!) and MPEG-4 video by the end of the month.

BY ALL MEANS, sing up for the newsletter so you know what's on SG each week. I also plan to use the newsletter form some exclusive giveaways a bit later in the year.

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!

You're right...I've been slack on that topic...

I've got Bennie Cooley and John Paul from JP Enterprises (best ARs in the world) lined up to do the next AR show; also, hopefully, Ken Hackathorn's carbine class right after that.

What else would you like to see? Rocky Mountain 3-Gun Championships? .45/.50 cal ARs? Jerry Miculek asked to do a AR training program based on the new S&W ARs, and I'm inclined to give him what he wants.

Lemme know!

The guns of the ComBloc. The cheap things that look like farm tools next to AR's and thrive on corrosive ammo that smells like the catlady's litter box.

YEAH! (But only if you make him shoot a revolver at least a little bit during the show.)

It would be neat if you could also get some exhibition shooting on the show now and then. That's always fun to watch.

I think it would also be interesting to try to replicate some famous shots on a show. The Kennedy thing has been done to death, but how about Carlos Hathcock's famous 2500 yard kill with an M2? Or Billy Dixon's 1500 yard shot with a buffalo rifle? I'll bet there are others.

Oh, NO!!! Not more AR-15...

And how about let's see some honest reporting of testing (accuracy at ranges from 50yds out to 300yds with an assortment of loadings- RN, FP, and spitzer type bullets- fired from leverguns, H&R hinge actions, and Savage 340's) of the .30-30 so many "experts" seem to hope will die a slow agonizing death in spite of so many of us who love the levergun and .30-30 cartridge.

And I agree about doing episodes on historical shots taken such as by Carlos Hathcock and Billy Dixon as were mentioned.
