Grilling meat to the point where it is charred with bits of hard black charcoal like crusties on it has been considered carcinogenic for ages (the crusty bits anyway) I've been hearing this for the better part of 3 decades.


Medium rare with a little singe to it is not what they are talking about.



At any rate, the " namby-pamby, whining, liberal outfit(s)" are saying eating ANY red meat is evil.



As for me I'll take my steak rare thankyouverymuch :D

Not only is it old news, the work has been there (and been pretty solid) for a while. In the world of science, as opposed to the world of wish-fulfillment, the data are king. If a scientist does careful work with repeatable results it doesn't matter what his political affiliation is. Commie, Fascist, Anarcho-syndicalist. The laws of nature just don't care. They behave the same for everyone.
 
Life is carcinogenic. We keep rubbing up against the environment. It's dangerous to our health.

Yeppers. Its like when people ask if they shouldnt use such and such because it 'might' cause caner.

As if the treated water, radio waves, bad food, and every artificle item does not.

No point in worrying about it, if it aint radioactive or toxic in a drastic way...
 
I have also heard that anyone who consumes uncooked carrots will die some day! EEEKKKKK!!!! I like my steaks medium well but am not averse to eating carcinogenic beef! Yum! What a way to go!:D
 
The government liberals want to make me not smoke cigarettes,be obese or own a firearm. But they think it is O:K if I do myself in with physician assisted suicide. But not if I do myself in with something they do not approve of. I wish they would all just ****. Plus if I die early the government gets to keep all that SS money they stole from me and also the MC money they took from me as well. I've already decided to put on my tomb stone ---------Send my d-mm SS check to my new address.:banghead:

For about the hundredth time, it's not about your delicate sensibilities. It's not about your politics. It's simply the truth. Tobacco is the just about the most physically addictive drug and second deadliest common recreational drug there is. We know it shortens your life. We know how it does. The fact that the tobacco companies give more money to Republicans than they do to Democrats doesn't change the facts. I'm really sorry that the Almighty does not see fit to alter the laws by which He governs the universe to fit the political squabbles and aesthetic preferences of a tiny group of people on one continent on a planet orbiting a little star in the ass-end of on galaxy. But He doesn't. Reality keeps ticking along regardless.

The "government liberals" don't make the laws of nature. But they do seem to be a little more willing to recognize and acknowledge them than most of the conservatives.

Charred meat seems to contain a fair helping of carcinogens.

Neither of them has the square root of kangaroo crap to do with gun control unless you've completely slipped your cams and believe that anything you don't like is everything you don't like.

And no, before anyone says so "Everything causes cancer" is simply not true. Most things don't. Many we don't know. Some things increase the odds a bit. Some drop a brick on one side of the jeweler's balance. Tobacco is a brick. Barbecue is probably a pebble. You're an adult. You can choose how you want to balance risks and benefits. But a real grownup doesn't rage and scream and insult anyone who brings him news he doesn't like. He takes the information, assesses it to see how reliable it is (scientifically reliable, not politically reliable) and makes rational choices based on that.

For the record I don't smoke, but I really enjoy steaks medium rare and barbecue. It is to my everlasting sorrow that science has not yet engineered a pig that chews its cud. When they do my rabbi, my wife's Sufi shaykh and I will chow down on pit-barbecued kosher pork ribs.
 
Ok since we are talking BBQ


1. By a steak

2. get a fork and stab the steak all over

3. get "Badia" complete seasoning and sprinkle it on the steak

4. get "Lea and Perrins" worcestershire sauce and put that on the steak

5. flip the steak and repeat steps 2 - 4

6. put steak on grill and cook it the way you want.

If you are unhapy with the results mail me the steak and I'll eat it

Now pork chops

1. get your pork chops

2. lightly sprinkle pork chops with badia complete seasoning

3. put the seasoned side on the grill season the other side

4. flip it and put the Lea and perrins

5. flip again more lea and perrins on the other side

6. flip again now pour some Corona beer on the porkchops

7. and some more Corona to the other side

if you don't like it mail me the pork chops.
