It's a toss up between my 6" Colt Anaconda and my 4" Colt Python (blue).....I think the Anaconda edges out the Python.....if not for any other reasons than it is my first revolver and it has much more power than the Python.

Smith & Wesson 629 with 4" half-lug barrel.

One can do almost anything with it. Accurate, attractive, good sights, excellent trigger, feels right in the hand. Loaded with heavy .44 Special, it's my car and nightstand gun. With standard special loads, it's great for relaxed plinking at bullseyes. With magnums, it's a fun ride and a tool for hunting or outdoor self-defense.

That's a lot of handgun.

well i cant get it down to one, 624 4 inch, 29-2 4 inch nickel, 629 no dash 4 inch , 27-2 5 inch yea i like n frames! csa

Favorite revolver

That's a tough one for me, my favorite changes during the year. For a carry gun it's my 642, for .22 cal pinshooting competition it's my 617 10 shot, for deer hunting it's my 686. My 627 PC is the best shooting revolver I own but since pinshooting is my most active shooting sport, I'd have to say the 617 10 shot.

I'd say....

I'd have to go with my old pencil barrel model 10-5, Beautiful wheel gun imo. I may sell it to buy one in better condition though (Did a bubba attempt at rebluing...............I messed up little.)

Geez, that's really tough.

For an all-around fun gun and shooter I'd have to say a 6" M-14.

For an HD/CCW gun I'd say a 3" M-13 or M-65.

For being just an overall great looking/shooting gun, I'd say a 6.5" M-29 or pre-29.

Hello. My favorite revolver would be an S&W Model 24 with 6 1/2" bbl...

This one is the one I enjoy shooting the most.

...but the ones I use the most are these:

Best.

Here's another N-frame Smith and Wesson vote. Just something about the big-guns, I guess. I have small-hands and they don't fit my perfectly, but I've learned to manage them.

My current is a 6" 629-1, bought used with low, low, low mileage. One great shooter! Not something I enjoy pushing full-power .44 Magnums through more than a couple dozen or so at a time, but pure joy with a 240gr SWC @ 1000-fps or so.

Runner-up might be the 625 Mountain Gun in .45 ACP my father had. Sweet shooter and right quick to reload. Funny thing is, everytime I fired it I found myself thinking, "Man, if only this was a .44!" :)

It used to be my SP101 3in. Now its my S&W model 57 Mountain gun in .41mag. I shoot the heck out of it.:D
