52, married to a doc, still have kids at home in middle school. Love guns (all kinds), fishing, photography, my pets, playing music and tennis, and lots of other things too numerous to mention. Hunt once in a while but mostly not because of time/access constraints or I'd go more often. We all shoot, BTW. All this despite being a former NYC liberal hippie type (though not really, it was just an act to get girls :) )

In my 40's, married to my best friend, she is also the singer in my band for the past 20 or so years. We both love to shoot, and try to get to the range on a weekly basis. In the band I play guitar and write our originals, but the first time through school I was a music major and play most other instruments (poorly  ) Presently a Spinal Cord Injury Research Nurse. Two successful, grown kids,(step kids that I have taken care of since they were 4 and 6 y.o.) and 5 gorgeous grandkids. A wonderful German Shepherd who I think will always be a puppy, and a psychotic 15 y.o. mutt...life is GOOD!

I am a 22 year old college student with a major in biological sciences. I live in a run down, asbestos laden, black mold encrusted house.:D I currently own only one gun and that is a 10/22. I plan on getting CZ85 if i can ever find one. Got a girl friend, no kids (thank god) and 3 roommates. Life couldn't be better. :)

No kids- we do not want any
5 Labs's. Two BLM's, one YLF, and two CLM's.
I am a Telephone Company CO/Cable/Fiber Tech.

Bought 80 acres a few years ago, and built my wife's dream house. It's nice because it gives elbow room from people, and I can finally hunt my own land.

I love duck and goose hunting. Retriever Field Trails and Hunt Tests. Sporting Clays, and FITASC (met wife at FITASC Tournament), Revolver's and handgun hunting.

I'm 14, (Somewhat obviously) not married, and I guess my occupation is a student:confused: . Anyway, We have 60 acres including a primitive 5-50 yard range and 2 1000 yard long fields full of groundhogs:cool: As to the guns, wish I could buy a ton, but right now i desperately need a dedicated varmint gun. The .308 A-Bolt is great but way to expensive to blast groundhogs with.

I'm 36, married 10 years and two weeks. We have two preschool-aged kids and live in a quiet suburb on the west side of town. I work (sigh...on the east side of town) as a web developer.

I am an NRA-certified (pistol, home firearm safety, personal protection) instructor and RSO. I founded and run MADFI, a nonprofit that certifies Minnesota Permit to Carry instructors and advocates for legal carry.

Not bad for a Jewboy from New York who didn't even own a gun until three years ago, huh? :)

Hard to beleive that this thread was started back in 2003. I wonder if Girlwithagun is still following the thing. Oh, well, here goes anyway.

I am 56 years old. Married for 37 years to the same lovely and tolerant lady. I always tell everyone "She knew what she was getting".
We have an adult son that recently moved back home to finish school.
Operations Manager for a Security Systems Company ( we produce hardware and software)
I have been involved with guns and hunting all my life. My brother and I operated a small gunsmithing operation for a while back in the 80's. I recently became re-interested in guns and shooting again through a friend at work. I have somewhat overspent my firearms budget lately, but am having a ball. I have become interested in tactical shooting (even at my advanced age), and have taken a few courses. I recently built an AK-47, bought a Remington 870 and tricked it out, and most recently bought a Bushmaster AR-15. I am a member of Tac Pro Shooting Center and am trying to wear out my welcome.

47, married w/ one daughter (21 and on her own), 1 car (pd for), 1 truck (me & the bank), 1 Harley (Mine Forever!), and several bangers. Like most, I tend to trade off the guns I: don't use/tired of/get a good deal and and get what grabs my interest; maybe a few dead presidents change hands as well.

This unit has little controllability, especially self-induced. Consistently kicked off bulletin boards and deleted repeatedly although this problem seems to have lessened recently. Incredibly low bulls&%t tolerance which causes blown fuses resulting in letters-to-the-editor and/or unsolicited internet bulletin board advice. Alienates friends and enemies equally well.

Sense of humor, perspective and optimism has operated flawlessly for fifty years and show no signs of wear or damage. Integrity appears to be intact.
