Reloading for my Benelli MP3S in .32 S&W L WC
This is a "New" ( to me) gun.

Using 100 grain Hard Cast Double Ended Wadcutter bullets
3.2 grains of Unique Powder
Seating to just barely under case rim
Lee .32 S&W Long 3 Die set
"Roll" Crimping ( and final resizing) with a Lee Factory Crimp Die ( .32 S&W )
( just enough { I thought} to "round" the sharp edge off of the outside of the case mouth)

They Shoot fine and VERY accurately.
Feed and run the Gun very well

Using data from "Steve's Pages":
3.2 should be just about mid range for this cartridge:

Quoting "Steve"
32 S&W Long
98 grain
Unique 3.0 > 3.8
100 Grain
Unique 2.5 > 4.0

However…………………….
I am getting Pressure Signs
"Flattened and Ringed Primers"
Some of each, some of BOTH and Some OK

Have checked my Load weight several times ( using both a RCBS 10/10 AND RCBS Electronic)
Once in a while ( not uncommon with Unique and RCBS Powder Measure ) I may get as much as 3.6
Most are at 3.2 > 3.3
This should be WELL within recommended limits

Could it be the CRIMP ??
I looked at some "Factory" .32 S&W Long Wadcutters
The outside edges of their cases looked "sharp"

Are Wadcutters NOT supposed to be Roll Crimped

I know that the .32 S&W Long headspaces on the rim

While I have your ear
Does anyone have any documentation of the MP3S?
Parts breakdown/specs??
Know of a source for parts ( especially the screw/bolt that tightens the "Split bottomed" "Sight Block" to the barrel
Or Magazines for same ( I have tried "Larry")

I think your overloading. I would say that 1.8 gr of Unique would be more appropiate. Thats what my friend has loaded for years for ISSF centrefire match. (Edit: I don't load for .32 so please don't take what I say for granted)

I have the Benelli MP90S World Cup in .22 they are wonderfully accurate pistols and I regulary shoot around 570/600 in ISSF.

If you go to the Benelli website you will find the complete instructions and schematic for your pistol.

When I do I am going to go with both 1.8 Unique and 1.6 BE
maybe 50 @

I have wrecked 3 very nice 32 S&W Long revolvers.
All were Colts that got blown out forcing cones.
One got loose timing becuase I kept shooting.
Once the forcing cones are TIG welded and re cut, the forcing cone is thicker and stronger.

But the take home message is, 32 S&W Long is very easy to get high pressure. Back off.
 
I've been using 1.35 gr. of W-231 under a 98 gr. Lapua HBWC in my Pardini and have been happy with the results. However, my range does not have a 50 yd. line for slowfire so I don't know how this would perform at that distance. (We use reduced targets at 25 yds.)

Alliant powder has an online reloading chart. Unfortunately, they only have data for 32 H&R Magnum with a 90 grain LWC. The suggested load is 2.5gr of Unique at 8400 PSI for a target load and 3.7gr at 20,300 PSI. The pressures will be higher in the shorter 32 S&WL case, and I think it is rated for more than 8400 PSI but much less than 20,000.

At any rate, I suspect your load is too hot. Buy a loading manual or 4 and compare as many loads as you can for the powder you want to use. One source is not enough as mistakes can happen, or it could be old "by feel" data that was never pressure tested. I would stay under 3.0gr with what I can see from the two data points above.

The wad cutter takes up a bunch of space when you seat them flush which probably increases pressure over a round nose or SWC type bullet where 1/3 to 1/2 of the bullet remains out of the case.. I load 3.2grs of Unique behind the 98gr RN from Magtech. These chrono at 868 fps from my Colt 4" police positive wich is about 100 fps faster than factory loads.

I'd suggest you drop your charge down to 2.5grs and see if that doesn't improve things. The WC bullets should work best at a velocity around 700 to 750 fps.
 
Meister DEWC-.32 S&W Long

Thanks for kind advice.I should have mentioned load and powder.I am trying for very accurate loads,using a Meister 100gr DEWC,and just enough powder to function action reliably. At 50yds,I don't want slight leading in throat area after 5-15 shots.It will hurt accuracy.I am using 1.55grs/B'eye and 1.6grs/N320.Both give near "X" accuracy WITH a clean bbl.My .45 ACP doesn't have this problem and I use lead cast bullets also.A Speer HBWC works in my .32 S&W perfectly but I wanted to use the Meisters for 25yds if possible-without the slight leading in the throat area.I am going to try Lee's Liquid Alox on the heads to see if that reduces the problem.If any other ideas from you experts-now would be a good time.Thanks Erod.
 
Anyone reloads for a Pardini HP new with N310 and 98 gr. LWCHB?
Which kind of primers? Roll crimp or taper crimp?

Do be careful, .32 S&W Long is perhaps the only caliber in which the target wadcutter is loaded hotter than the original roundnose service round. And these are blowback pistols, .22s opened up.

I think the OP is loading too heavy.

A) 6.5 gr 800X 85 gr Hornady, 1.29", easy out

B) 13 gr LIL'GUN 85 gr HNDY, 1.29", easy out, case full, lower pressure
sign on primer.

Recoil and primer signs about the same in two above and are both high
recoil and low pressure. I blew the forcing cone out of Colt Pocket Positives are old as 1906 trying all kinds of loads before I found those good loads with lots of recoil and no pressure sign.

The added powder to work up from wimpy loads, to loads with stuck cases and flat primers, is very small, often as little as one grain. I split the cylinder on one, wrecked the timing on another, and damaged the forcing cones on three of them. 110 gr bullets are too heavy.
 
Suggested Loads

Not all of the 32s act the same for me. I have two Benelli 95s that are the most particular about loads. 1.7 - 1.8 Acurate #2, Rem SP primer, and Laupa 98 HBWC. If a Benelli 90 or 95 won't shoot this load, "The dog won't hunt!" :)
My friend's Pardini HP also likes this load.

Benelli MP3S and FAS 603, 1.4 WST, any small pistol primer and Speer 98 HBWC shoots great. Make sure you have a good grip on the MP3S or it may short cycle.

My Ruger 32 Mag will shoot any of these loads with great accuracy.

I put alot of hours into developing loads for the 32S&W Long.

The primers top hat and the case stick often within a grain of loads so wimpy that the bullet almost gets stuck.

The goal was to get some power, with safety margin away from stuck cases or stuck bullets.

This is not an easy cartridge to fake together loads.
