Yes Virginia, the LS does stand for "Lady Smith"!!!
No, it ain't gunna become a "Man Smith"!! I happen to like fondeling women!!

AMEN Brutha, preach on. If they don't like it we can hit them with our purses. :D

I like to think of my model 60 as Rosie. She is short, kinda fat, loud and most definitely obnoxious if you are near her when she speaks. :neener:

This old Flattop was a good workin' gun when it came out in '55. Some things just don't change:)

Nothin' Fancy

This is my favorite wheel gun. It's designed for very serious social situations and has fulfilled its role.

Right now my favorite is the 4" 19-3 P&R that I have on layaway at a local store. I even have a set of Jordan Trooper grips from Herrett's waiting for it when it comes home.

It amazes me how over the past two years or so I have managed to have 2x as many revolvers in my safe as I do semi-autos and every one fo the revolvers is chambered for either .357 or .38

Hmm....seems a trip to the gunstore is in order....

hoek48, do I see *gasp* some WEAR MARKS on that 15-6? Awesome way to accentuate the charachter of the firearm

Nice grips. Where'd you get 'em, and how to they stack up (comfort and recoil-absorbtion-wise) to a Hogue monogrip?

my tricked out Taurus 970

heres my Taurus 970 Tracker .22 lr. has a Hogue grip, scope base, and a True Glo 2 X42 mm red dot scope on it. it shoots Velocitors pretty well

yes, its kinda bulky but i think the weight forward balance helps me steady it for aiming. i really like this 2 power True Glo red dot becase i really wanted a red dot but i didnt do well with a 1 power scope. -Eric

I'd have to say I have two. This 65 is what I carry daily and trust my life to:

My python is the one I pull out and play with the most:

Grips are Hogue Camo-Lamo

this is an older .45 Colt S&W 25-5. I had my gunsmith hard chrome it, install Trijicon nite sights, trigger job, and new springs. He changed the butt from square to round, and carved the grips. There are a number of other upgrades as well. The last thing we did was fit another cylinder, chambered in .45 ACP.

Here's a better picture of the old timers...

EIGHTBALL, sorry to be so long in answering. I got the grips from the Hogue Auction site. They are comfortable. The shop where I purchased it had got 15 Model 15's in from the SC Dept. of Corrections. Of the lot, only 2-3 were the 15-6 with heavy barrel. I had never seen a M-15 with a heavy barrel. So I got the best of both worlds. The heavy barrel I like in the M-10 and the sights of the M-15. It has alot of wear, but locks up tight and shoots great. I used brass wool and Breakfree to clean the surface crud and the bluing came out nice.

Let's add just one more 65. Found in a Pawn/Gun/Tool store in a small town in Texas. The owner told me no one will buy it since all the craze is for semi-autos. To be a good samaritan, I relieved him of the burden. This one is DAO from the S&W Performance Center with one of the sweetest triggers I have ever pulled. It is also super accurate with MagTech 158gr. JHP's.

It carries well in my HBE Com 3:
