VERY light used Taurus 85 Tituanium .38, the two tone looking grey, not blued. 320.00 out the door. Good price?

Is it one of the "Total Titanium" models or titanium cylinder/alloy frame? If it's total then that's not bad at all from what I've seen. Where in AR are you? If you can wait on the purchase try to hit the gun show in LR this weekend, you may be able to compare prices there. Or try one of the auction sites (gunsamerica, auction arms, gunbroker) to see what they're going for there.

LR gun show prices are so out of wack its not even funny. I have yet to find a single good deal in the last four.

Shop around. This is a bit high. Depend if its Total or not. This is one that i would really like to inspect before purchase. The titanium ones make me nervous. Good luck...spend wisely.

Shopped a bit. Two other stores had none used, new they were $530 and $500, to order. Guns pries just seem high in this area. Smith air weight, not Air lite, are going for 375-500 new.

Well, there's about 3 oz difference between the Airweight and AirLite Smiths. Roughly about $250 difference between the two new. Not worth it to me, but that's got to be your judgement call.

You're right the local prices are outrageous. $500 and over for that Taurus is outrageous. I'm not proud of it, but I paid $430 (OTD) for my 85TI new. This was when they just came out and seemed, at the time, to be hard to find. I didn't want to order one and take whatever came, so I found this one new at a local shop. Recently, my favorite local shop had a Taurus 651 TI in the case new for $350. Took about a month to sell. Though I was sorely tempted, I had just bought a S&W 649, so I passed (my light CCW revolver is a Smith 642).

Look around at gunbroker and see if you find something that will fit your bill if you had it transferred into a local shop. Don't forget to add the transfer fees and shipping into your figuring. Good luck.

I've seen some 637's on Gunsamerica for $345.00. No sales tax either. Even with shipping and FFL fee, it's a better deal than $320 for a used Taurus, IMO. The ones you're seeing locally for $500.00 are the Crimson Trace versions, more than likely.

After adding shipping and FFL fees I am better getting the one I found. The 320 is after tax, its an out the door price.
