AR Mags

You may want to get original USGI Colt 20 round magazines with the metal alloy followers. You can get them used from places like ar15.com under the Equipment Exchange section. There are some new in box that have survived since the late 60s too that surface quite often.

Someone posted a link to the 44mag.com website for the curved 20 rounders. If you want straight bodies, 44mag.com sells new production 20 round magazines with straight bodies as well:

If you're going to shoot Service Rifle high power, you'll need the straight bodies.

I have several of the D&H mags linked above. They seems to work real well.
I have one NHMTG mag. It actually looks like better fit/finish than D&H. The front of the feed lip was very pointed and caused me some FTFs. I filed the point off just a little and it works like a champ now.

I have seen the C-Products mags recommended ever since I joined this site, but I have never had the chance to try one.

C-Products rocks!!!!

Seriously, I can't recommend them enough. Not only do they make 1st rate magazines, but they listen to the consumer. They, upon consumer demand, made 7.62x39 mags and are now tooling 9mm colt style magazines.

Great mags at great prices!

Mags for sale

I have a couple of 20's (old colts with metal followers) and about 12 30's that I'll let go cheap.

PM me if interested.
