What's the point of sending an infantryman to Ft S
Wow!! All I can say is...WOW!! I was in OKC yesterday to get my late Christmas present and went to H&H Guns. What a top shelf set-up. I have been in A LOT of gun shops in my life and I have never been in one as well stocked and well-run as this one. The sales staff were not only friendly but very knowledgeable as well. The gentleman that helped me, Will was his name, is entirely deserving of that adjective. The lay out of the store was the most effiecent and logical I have ever seen - firearms grouped not by caliber, but by manufacturer. I expressed an interest in an M1A and Will led me to a rotating case full of Springfield 7.62 goodness. The store also has a range. The term "Indoor Range Complex" is really a more accurate description. There was a bay each for Air Rifle, Pistol and Rifle/Shotgun/Muzzle loader. While everything about this place screamed "first class," prices were well within reason for the area. The range fee was a little on the tall side at $9.00/day, but if you're going to be shooting for a couple of hours it's probably worth it.

All in all, I was very impressed with H&H. If you're in OKC, drop by and take a look for yourselves. It's located just off of I-40 West near the Meridian Street exit.

$9 a day is a "tall" range fee? Id be on my knees thanking God... we here in Buffalo pay around $14 an hour.

My range in Plano, TX gets over 30 dollars from me and a guest even if I just wanted to fire a few rounds and leave again. This setup in OKC sounds like a roadtrip in my future.

H&H is indeed a nice place - to look around and find what you want - then go to Outdoor America Store and with few exceptions buy the same thing for 10% to 15% less.

Here's an example: H&H EoTech 510 Holosight $399. OAS $359... That's pretty much true across the board - I've been shopping at both for years.

Most of the staff at H&H is very knowledgeable - some are a bit snooty.

RE: The range... I stopped shooting there because every time I left after shooting any gun with lead bullets I left with a sweet taste in my throat. My doctor told me that was lead - don't go there. He was probably right since I never get that on an outdoor range. The ventilation on their two ranges isn't very good. When you can see the smoke wafting back at you instead of getting sucked out the by the fans up on the ceiling...

So far as prices compare, it's like anything/where else, you'll always find a better price on something somewhere.

Overall, it's a pretty good place. And unlike Outdoor America, you don't wind up standing in front of a counter for 5-15 minutes trying to get someone to wait on you(my one big gripe about the place).

By the way, DO NOT TRUST WILL! He will cause you to spend large amounts of money! Too helpful by far:evil:
