What would you pay for a week of deer hunting in Ontario
At a camp, everything supplied food, lodging, hounds.
only thing you would have to take is what you may drink
(booz) if you wish.you would be hunting with about 6--8
other men, only thing is there is no promise of shooting a deer but the chance is pretty good. if deer are taken you would get a equal share of the meat. and you would have tohelp out with dishes and cleaning you know camp chores. there would be no guide just somone to take ou to your stand for the runs, and the other guys who know all the land doing the dogging, and if you want to see the country side you could go with one of the other hunters.

Ohh, I'd say at least $200/day, not including a tip for the guide, if you have one. I've never paid for a trip so its just a guess.

forgive me if im wrong, but i think hes trying to see whos up for paying to go on a hunting trip.

nothing wrong with bringing people who pay for everything.

sounds like a cool hunt. wish i had money to do stuff like that.

Off the cuff, for limited "guiding" and with hunters being pretty much on their own, but with local transport and food provided, somewhere around $200 a day sounds reasonable. I'm assuming some sort of wall tent or hunt shack; no fancy motel-type quarters. I'd guess a "five-day hunt" would net out some four days of actual hunting, unless it's set up for arrival/departure before and after the five days in camp.

Just guessing.

just a question

I was just looking for input on this subject as I have a couple of guys wanting to hunt at my camp and I have no Idea what to ask them for fees I was going to charge them 200.00 for the week Saturday to Following sunday.. it sounded fair to me, I see alot of different prices from everyone but I think I will stay with mine After all I am not trying to make money Just good hunting Friends........
But I dont have to worry about it till this November.
