Just received the holster and belt from D.M. Bullard of Azle, Texas the other day. Not much of a photo, but my digital camera just won't do the same things as my SLR. Less than a week turnaround.

I'll post an image when I can. Having some difficulty.

That's what attracted me to the holster in the first place.

That is a pretty serious cant.

I can wear it behind the point of my right hip (about 4:00) and it just disappears. The pistol is held securely, but it glides right out of the holster.

About how much do his rigs run, if you don't mind me asking. Azle is only about 10 minutes from my parent's house and I have a 7.5 in Blackhawk in need of a holster.
Looks nice, by the way.

That rig was 150.00. Holster and belt together.

I could have saved the shipping by picking it up myself, but I guess I'm just too lazy. Shipping was 5.00 (Azle to Dallas). Of course, I had to pay state sales tax of about 13.00 too. If you're out of state you won't have to pay that.

I'd seen the Texas star concho on Tucker holsters but didn't want to pay 250.00 or 300.00 for a Tucker rig. I found the concho on Ebay and sent it to Mr. Bullard. He attached it to the holster and even lined the inside so the back of the concho doesn't scratch my pistol. A pleasure to deal with him. He does have a web site too. dmbullardleather.com
The conchos are available for about 3.50 on Ebay or at www.texasuniques.com

Very, very, nice!

It's always a treat to get a well-made, good-looking leather holster. I recently bought a new holster for my 1911s, so I totally understand. :D

See it now

Ok now since I can see it I have a question. Are you a leftie? I would like something like the holster in the picture, but I want to be able to cross draw it using my right hand, so I think it would need to be canted in the opposite direction.. I think?

Wow! Nice. I had never heard of that Bullard guy until a few days ago when I noticed his ad in the Feb. issue of Guns Magazine. Cool to see his work here today.

You should give Mr. Bullard a call. I'll bet he'd make that holster any way you want. Heckuva nice guy. I think what you want is that right hand holster with the cant angle reversed.
