Cheap Mags

Never tried those but I had some from C-products that worked great with my AR. They also have pretty good customer service.
And IIRC they were cheaper.
Better bet all round IMO.

Where'd you get them from???

I heard there was a really bad batch of mags from C Products...Does anyone know if they got rid of them yet? Can you get good ones right now?

I bought them straight from C-products.
I did have some problems because my rifle was an Olympic and they are known to have tight mag wells. So some of the mags were tight. C-products sent me replacements with no BS and even gave me a couple free anti-tilt magpull followers for my trouble.
I want another AR and when I can afford it I am going to get some more of those mags.
Just my experience.

I believe D&H industries went through a bad batch last year also. It happens. Look for the best people and test your mags. The D&H mags I have work well.

I swear some of you are smoking huge amounts of weed right now.

The site Bazooka Joe posted has a 10 pack ar15 deal for almost $100. That's like $10 a mag!!! What's so "expensive" about that? That's a good price!

Get some used USGI mags. Just picked up a few for $5.83 ea. shipped to my door.

Bazooka Joe71,
i posted some links to ar mags the other day they are d&h and c products and they are approx 9-10 dollars apiece. i would stick with them those are the ones i and many others have used and they work great.

i will search for the others, but hey don't pay more than 410 a pop for them they are out there, www.midwayusa.com also has alot!

I just got a half dozen of the D&H mags from www.surplusammo.com, they have the black and grey finish ones. They seem pretty nice. $11.99 They did take about a week after the order to actually ship them though. Edit - they appear to be out of the grey finish ones.

makowner,
he's right that is the other site that i was trying to post a link to but i couldn't get on the site for some reason.

Well, I will just say that I don't have a particularly high budget, and I can understand the idea behind buying cheap mags. With that being said, don't do it. I would rather have one or two mags that I can depend on than 3 or 4 or more that are sketchy.

Thanks for all of the great links guys!(and opinions of course).

I like that site possum, I need some more magpuls as well, and it'll be cheaper for shipping if I can get them at the same time.
